Russian President Vladimir Putin Friday offered Russian replacements for the peacekeeping force Austria wants to withdraw from the Golan Heights.
Austria said it was concerned about the safety of its 370 soldiers because the conflict in Syria has spread to a strategic border crossing. Security conditions have deteriorated in the area around the U.N. Golan Heights headquarters since the Quneitra crossing became the site of a clash between Syrian and rebel forces, CNN reported Friday.
Austria's announcement it will remove its soldiers slashes the number of U.N. troops in the Golan Heights by one-third.
Filipino and Indian peacekeepers will remain and the United Nations may bring in troops from other nations, U.N. spokeswoman Josephine Guerrero said.

The list, Ping
Let me know if you would like to be on or off the ping list
Hey look, Gog and Magog!
Things appear to be falling in line, just as predicted.
GMTA
Oh my.
Maybe the Georgians would be willing to send soldiers instead. I’m sure they would be very sympathetic to those aligned with Russia.
Pooty Poot Poot want’s to make it impossible for Israel to stop his Iranian friends from flooding Syria with recently purchased surplus Russian weapons.
No thanks Vlad, we don’t want your guys going in with the first wave.
No Kidding...
And Austria? As in Archduke Duke Ferdinand?
A superstitious person might see an eery sign here.
Glad im only a little superstitious.
Well, I simply remember that one facet (whether legitimate or not) states that Russia attempts to invade Israel through Syria.
Gog and Magog prophesy is in Rev 20 AFTER the Lord’s return and His millennial reign. Just goes to show that some things never change. :)

Sounds like you have rejected the Immaculation of the Won.
Dat be wasist!

AMEN! Time to look up folks and get right with God.
I am prejudiced on a case-by-case basis.
Putin and Netanyahu have been negotiating deals between Israel and Russia for the past three years. Russian millionaire Jews are dealing with Israeli millionaire Jews to hammer out energy deals that benefit both countries.
Israel has the Leviathan natural gas field and Russia has the access to bring it to market, benefiting both countries.
What’s wrong with that?
Is that true?
Where canI find that,? That’s just bizarre
Are we close yet, Bob? .................................................................................................... FRegards
Well, hulda, up until now I thot I was the only living human that still believed in Revelation chapter 20... all the preachers I know on tv & elsewhere believe Gog and Magog are just on the threshold. Perhaps - since the prophecy is mentioned twice at the beginning of both Ezekiel 38 and 39 one might make a case that it could happen both before and after the Millennium.
There are many that believe that the Millennium of Peace has already happened... I guess I slept thru it... a thousand years of Christ reigning and no wars or genocide - no evil as Christ reigns over the world with a rod of iron.
The whole interpretation mentioned above of Russia invading Israel stems from Hal Lindsey and is based on the Hebrew word for chief of the north: ros(h). While it is certainly possible that ros(h) implies Russia, it is not - as Hal Lindsey says - perfectly clear. If ros(h) absolutely means 'Russia' then I pose a challenge for these 'scholars': ros(h) is the first word in Genesis [Bereshith 'beginning' (the vowel in Semitic languages is a bit fluid)], SO does that mean that the whole Bible was only written for Russians?
I am a post-tribber. Because of this question I was going to re-read Ezekiel with this in mind because I was a pre-tribber until I went to college at a Christian college and met a post-tribber. I was so devastated that a friend would not believe the truth that I cried and prayed for quite a while until it was ME who asked to know the TRUTH and nothing but the truth. Then I did my own study of the return IN CONTEXT. After that I never read a verse out of context, especially in church.
One thing I learned is that every phrase within commas are especially important.
The most important phrase in Revelation: “this is the first resurrection.” Another in 2 Kings is “and the LORD would not forgive.” It only occurs once but boy, it is as weighty as the one unforgivable sin in the New Testament.
