Scary: These Slides Show How The NSA Watches Your Every Online Move
Business Insider ^ | 6/6/13 | Josh Barro

A top-secret April PowerPoint slideshow details how the National Security Agency partnered with nine tech companies, including Apple, Microsoft and Google, to monitor users activity. The NSA got direct access to these companies servers´ in order to directly watch user communications, according to the presentation obtained by the Washington Post and the Guardian. The program was nominally aimed at foreign actors, but as the Post reports, purely domestic communications could easily end up in NSA hands, so long as an algorithm estimated at least a 51 percent probability that they were foreign.

Well, just how efficient is all this spying, anyway?? They couldn’t stop the Boston bombers or the shooters in Colorado and Sandy hook.... I guess THEY did’nt want to stop them??

Obama's not looking for terrorists... he's looking for political enemies.

Any bad guys that do slip through (or are purposely overlooked) serve to increase their power. ‘See, if we’d just had access to this other data over here we could have stopped them’.

No doubt... this is about destroying political enemies. Whether they’re citizens like us, supreme court justices, senators, or whoever.

Exactly! And what good does all this surveillance do when they couldn’t stop the Boston Marathon bombers?

And the reason they couldn’t stop the bombers is because we lack the will to throw people out of this country before they kill someone. We monitor the conversations and movements of all these people (suspected terrorists). Just kick their butts out of the country and don’t let them back in. That’s where we start. Then we can monitor their conversations in egypt, or saudia arabia, or russia, or where ever.

They were watching the guy.... they knew he was a potential... and they lacked the will to kick him out of the country. That’s the bottom line.

Well that may be apart of it, but I think the mentality being employed here isn’t humanInt verses tech and there arrogance, the tech intel allows them to build a profile of most of the people in the country, i.e. people who they will consider trouble makers to there totalitarian cause. It also allows them to quickly and on a large scale I might add, deny these same citizens there rights (think the IRS scandal) and effectively insulate the bureaucracy from any repercussions while there are still large fragments or pieces regarding the rule of law and tradition. This in turn then allows them to go after the fragments bit by bit or in whole while no one can do anything (legally) about it. At this point, the totalitarians have won these critical battles that will determine if we go the route of Russia/Germany or the way of Chile. Now they are removing the veneer.

We are seeing open assaults on people religious beliefs, ethics, values, morals, their families, children, etc. in ways we really have never seen in the past even including the Fabian approach these nutjobs have been using. Now they shift over to more aggressive tactics and I doubt they will stop the escalation. After this new wave of assaults has effectively silenced people either by getting them to shut up or people no longer want to hear or associated with them, then I fully expect the real blood bath in the vein of the Nazis and Stalinists combined, to begin.

.... Considering that “Right Wing Extremist” groups (Read Tea Party Groups et-al)have been recently put on the terrorist watch lists and then subsequently and quickly prioritized ABOVE Al-Qaeda and foreign terrorist groups by this administration’s crack threat assessment wonks ....... AND Considering these developments of late, I think perhaps the motives of this administration may be well be starting to reveal itself. And folks, I sure don’t like what I see. I may not be extremely good at math ..... but I sure as heck don’t have a very hard time putting two and two together.

Cloud data is nuts for sure..... but so is any data storage by a third party. All it takes is a document from our Attorney General and these companies have to turn over whatever they have stored for any and everybody.

Cloud data is great for mp3s of your favorite songs. It helps you move them from computer to Ipod, to Ipad. That's about all cloud data is good for.

DCI is a muslim. I wouldn’t confuse ‘moral support’ with ‘lacked the will’. How many employees in these agencies SUPPORTED the bombers and their targets and motives and simply looked the other way?

Considering these developments of late, I think perhaps the motives of this administration may be well be starting to reveal itself.

Obama laid out his motives when he was running for office in 2008. By the time he was elected, most conservatives had his number.
