Resolving to Get It Right

[Article by Bob Kabel...]

As a lifelong Republican and a member of the Republican National Committee (RNC), I am deeply concerned about the GOP’s image with all demographic groups in the wake of a crushing defeat in the 2012 elections—but I’m especially concerned with millennials: they are the future of our Party—and our country—and unless the Republican Party can attract their votes, we stand to lose a generation of supporters.

...

To say rapidly changing attitudes about same-sex marriage—especially among younger voters—is a major challenge for the Republican Party is an understatement; it would be more accurate to term it a freight train headed right at the GOP.

...

Aside from the youth vote, many GOP conservatives contend that social issues such as marriage can be a wedge issue with African-American and Hispanic voters who tend to be more culturally conservative. Another recent poll by the Benenson Strategy Group and Voter Consumer Research refutes this contention by GOP social conservatives: Hispanic Catholics support marriage equality 54%-35%; African-American non-evangelicals support marriage equality 65%-31%.

...

It’s time for the RNC—and all Republicans—to take a hard look at the present reality, and adopt a winning strategy for the future.

This article is by Robert J. Kabel, who has been active in Republican politics since the 1980's. Kabel served for three years as Special Assistant to President Reagan for Legislative Affairs. He is a former Legislative Director for Senator Richard Lugar and former Legislative Assistant to Senator Paul Fannin. He also served as a part-time member of the Foreign Claims Settlement Commission.

Right now, he serves on the Board of Directors of Log Cabin Republicans. I was under the impression that LCR was a lunatic fringe movement, but nothing could be further from the truth. In fact, LCR was never an "outsider" movement, but as we can see from it's Board of Directors that it's ranks are rather stealthily spread through the conservative establishment. In fact, LCR leadership is comprised of many who have moved quite successfully throughout the uppermost circles of power in Republican politics and American business, to wit, Mr. Kabel's long association with Republican politics.

LCR was founded by Richard Tafel. Tafel has a rather complete globalist resume, solidly connected with appropriate educational elites and Wall Street leadership. According to his bio at bigthink.com, he has, for the last decade, provided strategic policy advice to nonprofits on a variety of causes, including AIDS programs for Africa, civil rights programs Latin America, and education and health care reform in the United States. He is a guest lecturer in Urban Health and Advocacy at Johns Hopkins University. Richard Tafel testified before Congress on the need to support the Ryan White Care Act. In 1999, he authored Party Crasher: A Gay Republican Challenges Politics as Usual. Tafel has also been appointed by Governor Weld (R-MA) to manage the adolescent health programs of Massachusetts. According to his bio at bigthink, Tafel's work in the public policy arena for social justice causes is inspired by his faith. After graduating from Harvard Divinity School he served at the University Chapel. He is an ordained minister in the Swedenborgian Church. He is a certified coach through Franklin Covey and certified through the International Coaching Association. He's an alumni of the Prince of Wales, Business and Sustainability Program, Cambridge College.

According to the website of another of his current projects, http://thepublicsquared.com, Tafel launched Public Squared as consultancy to world changing leaders who seek strategy on leadership, funding, public policy and cross sector partnerships.

The Big Think is connected to the upper echelons of globalism. If you want a real scare, look at the above link at Tafel's bio page at Big Think. You'll find three videos: How to Speak Like a Republican, 5 Steps for Systems Change and How to Transform the System from Within. The videos reveal a frighteningly driven and intelligent operative offering what are perhaps only some basic lessons in his layered techniques of deception and manipulation.

The Big Think, Inc., where Tafel currently posts some of his "consulting content", is headquarterd at 126 5th Avenue, 7th Floor, New York, NY, and was founded in 2007. One of Big Think's co-founders is Victoria R. M. Brown, the Chief Executive Officer. She has a BA from McGill University and an MBA from Harvard Business School. Prior to Big Think, Brown worked at Vertex Consultants, a management consultancy in Toronto, and then at Summit Entertainment and Universal Studios in Los Angeles. After earning an M.B.A., she worked as a producer at PBS where she was nominated for an Emmy for producing Charlie Rose’s interview with Ted Turner in 2005. It was at PBS where she met the other founder of Big Think, Peter Hopkins, a "civic-minded and idealistic 2004 Harvard graduate", who, according to this 2008 article, pitched the idea to Larry Summers. Getting Summers on board apparently enabled some other deep-pocketed investors to be brought in on the deal, including Peter Thiel, the Silicon Valley venture capitalist and co-founder of PayPal, Tom Scott, the juice company Nantucket Nectars founder and dabbler in television stations, television producer Gary David Goldberg and David Frankel, a venture capitalist who was Big Think's lead investor.

Peter Hopkins, the other co-founder of The Big Think, is the subject of this article on Forbes.com; an excerpt:

"A true entrepreneur, Hopkins plays many roles at Big Think, from staff interviewer for Supreme Court justices and Nobel Laureates, to securing strategic partnerships with major corporations, such as Pfizer. Overseeing all of Big Think’s innovative content creation, Hopkins’s skills were crucial in developing the company’s suite of dynamic career advancement tools including Big Think Edge. Hopkins also spearheaded the creation of Floating University, Big Think’s Internet-age approach to higher education, and created relationships with Harvard, Yale, and Bard to support the unique product. He is also a tireless advocate for Big Think’s mission, appearing on NPR, CNN, and “The Colbert Report.”

The 2012 Social Innovation Summit is a private, invitation-only forum that explores “What’s Next?” in the world of Social Innovation. Tailored to executive leaders interested in discussing the strategies and business innovations effecting social transformation across the corporate, investment, government, and non-profit sectors. Participants will include hundreds of top Fortune 500 Corporate Executives, Venture Capitalists, Government Leaders, Emerging Market Investors, Foundation Heads and Social Entrepreneurs eager to discuss social challenges, analyze innovative approaches and build lasting partnerships that enable them and their organizations to affect positive social change."

In 2012, Big Think took on the controversial evolutionary psychologist Satoshi Kanazawa as a contributing editor, and later discontinued the relationship, publishing the fact in this sappy article on Big Think.

The Big Think is one tiny operation out of countless similar operations of globalist minions working towards consolidating the little "club" of financial oligarchs' control over captive nations.

The Republican Party leadership keeps their slow but sure infiltration by homosexual activists on the down low. It is a party whose foundation is increasingly becoming a pile of lies, as its leadership enters the final phase of giving in publicly to a godless, lawless agenda one issue at a time: immigration, corruption, abortion, the homosexual agenda, etc., much to the dismay of many of their rank-and-file.

For now they give in as behind-the-scenes as possible, keeping the true political machinations out of the view of Americans to the extent they rely on legacy media for information, in what amounts to a vain attempt at a media blackout on these topics. All this, while the "financial oligarchy" tests the waters for their homosexual agenda with some of the traditional conservative voting base by trotting out stories of professional athletes "coming out" on sports programs (the Yankees announcers recently disgustingly brought up the topic on a broadcast, making this 2nd generation Yankee fan about ready to give up on watching professional baseball).

IMHO, it's going to be decision time for the Republican party leadership soon. They appear to be completely unwilling to oppose the homosexual agenda and eagerly looking forward to "coming out" as a party, exactly as their financial masters want them to.

America is headed for the toilet created by its elite financial masters, who will then sit upon their throne and perhaps have a Big Think.

As I've noted many times, homosexuals are devoted exclusively to one subject ~ so anything they say about anything else is done with that original subject in mind.

Frankly, this guy hasn't done his homework ~ so typical of gays to not bother with facts outside their personal aims, but getting beyond that, Romney could not have come close to equaling the McCain vote in 2008 WITHOUT an additional 5,000,000 people signing up to vote for the Republicans in 2012! Contrast that with the Democrats getting only 1/4 million new registered voters in 2012.

If gay marriage is the key to the youth vote, how was it we got 25 Times as many Youth to sign up with us than did the Democrats for the last election?

Well, enough with the cold hard facts ~ the log cabin crowd are not interested in such matters.

Keep shoving Homo’s, illegals, and abortion at us and see how far you get.

The Republican party is as dead as Elvis and they both died on the toilet.

This link is definitely worth a visit.

From my post above:

Tafel's videos seem like a surreal caricature of themselves, like a parody on a Soros/CIA operative. The dude is being blatantly up-front, he's working his enemy from the inside.

Do you remember the movie "No Way Out" with Kevin Costner and Gene Hackman, and a "very well" typecast Sean Young ? Here's the resemblance I see:

Will Patton as Scott Pritchard...

Richard Tafel as himself

Pritchard in action...

Where it all winds up ?...

This guy is a “leader” in the Log Cabin Republicans! These guys are all “fudgepackers!” No wonder he’s pushing “diversity,” because that’s his over arching agenda!

How'd you like him to be your Scoutmaster ?

I was shocked and dismayed to find that this man served under Ronald Reagan (it's in my rant at post #1).

The VERY FIRST THING that all conservatives must keep in the front of their minds is that THE DEMOCRATS MAKE THEIR FORTUNES THROUGH GOVERNMENT. THEY WILL DO ANYTHING TO WIN RACES INCLUDING INFILTRATING THE OPPOSITION. It’s how they make their fortunes.

To say rapidly changing attitudes about same-sex marriage—especially among younger voters—is a major challenge for the Republican Party is an understatement; it would be more accurate to term it a freight train headed right at the GOP.

I honestly think those "rapidly changing attitudes" are more in the minds of those who have made it practically a crime (and in some instances a literal crime) to oppose their twisted agenda. Kids (I'm a great grandpa, so under 30 qualifies) nowadays aren't stupid, they know their answers can be traced back to them and they have seen the results of the homonazi oppression on others. Rather than risk it, they will fill out the form, answer the poll like they think the pollster wants, while harboring their own opinions, frequently of derision for those who fancy themselves their masters.

Will that bring in more Republicans?

NO, it will create more people who think their vote, their opinion is irrelevant--which is the aim of the would-be globalist masters, for those who do not oppose them present no threat.

When the rest of the GOP becomes castrada, they aim to have both "sides" of the aisle, festering in groupthink.

What Conservatives need is a rallying point where traditional values are upheld across the board, in order to focus political energy without the diffusion and misdirection of the GOPe.

The Republican party leadership has been going along willingly - much more so than I ever realized up until now. So much so that I have a hard time saying homosexual activists "infiltrated". Back when this started I wasn't paying attention to politics much at all.

This is "Bob" Kabel's bio - he was not exactly unknown to Republican leadership:

"Bob is a lawyer and consultant in Washington, D.C. at the global law firm of Faegre, Baker, Daniels and its consulting division, FaegreBD Consulting. Bob currently serves as the Republican National Committeeman for The District of Columbia, and previously served eight years as Chairman of the D.C. Republican Committee.

Bob is a former Chairman of Log Cabin Republicans and the Liberty Education Forum."

The group dates back to the 1970's. IMHO, infiltration is when the leadership is unaware, and operatives stealthily "sneak" in.

A brief account of the Briggs Initiative reveals that Republican party leadership has been dancing around the issue for decades, selling out for votes here and there out of fear all along.

They just are looking for the polling to indicate that they can support the homosexual agenda in the party platform officially and not cause the party to go in the dumper. As sensible people age and are replaced by young public school indoctrinees, the Republican leadership thinks they can make it work, immoral idiots that they are.

Maybe I missed the fact that NO Democrat has EVER lied during a campaign - if so someone please correct me.

It would seem to me that the uninformed voter picks up on a few key items - gay marriage, abortion, and the like. Informed voters key on things like taxes, gun rights and the like.

So as a democrat you promise, and be sincere now - not to EVER raise taxes or “take your guns”. Even though you know that is not your true intent.

As a republican you promise, and be sincere now - to be in favor of gay marriage and you are “pro choice”. Even though that is not your true intent.

So some folks it would seem are ready and willing to just hand over an election because they are unwilling to participate in the regular political process? You would prefer to have Obama in office (by NOT voting) rather than support a candidate that has most of the views you prefer?

It is true the republican party might be toast because its membership is loaded with single issue people who choose to avoid voting because they can’t see the forest for the trees.

Y’know Bob—I can call you Bob, right?—I am deeply concerned about the fact that the entire Executive branch has targetted honest, hard-working, tax-paying citizens who happen to be conservative and the Republicans in Congress don’t seem to be able to find two balls to put together and do something about it.

Who is going to lose their job?

Who is going to go to jail?

Who is going to call the current Adminstration illegitimate?

Who is going to stand up for the disenfranchised voters from the 2012 election farce?

What steps are going to be taken to correct this situation and ensure that it never happens again?

If you leading lights don’t start worrying about these issues pretty quick, everything else will be moot.
