Gondring brought this article to our attention -- this issue was the spark that inspired me to get into pinging a Boy Scout list. Shaking my head; particularly at the detail in the article that Nutter offered the BSA $500,000 for that gorgeous art deco building right on the Ben Franklin Parkway. The ground it's sitting on is worth more.

Christians, beware. Churches will be next.

As I recall, the land belongs to the city - part of Fairmount Park - but leased in perpetuity to the BSA for $1.00 per year. That they folded means the BSA will be dead inside of a very few years, sad to say.

The City offered the property to the Scouts as payment for the legal charges they owed to the BSA. They should have taken the property. They could have stayed, sold it, or leased it back to the city for hundreds of thousands a year.
They are stupid!

You are forgetting homosexual rape, which is a something that queers often do to those they can dominate. A 12 year old weighing 90 pounds up against a 17 year old, 180 pound queer hasn’t much of a chance. Homosexuality is not just something one practices, it is an aggressive behavior, and many who would never choose to practice it have had it forced upon them.
