A Pakistan International Airlines flight en route from Lahore to Manchester, England, was forced to land at London's Stansted Airport on Friday after a pair of male passengers threatened the safety of the aircraft in some way. The plane was escorted to the ground by Typhoon military jets, and the 300 or so people onboard disembarked safely. The two men were taken into custody and have not yet been identified, but the BBC reports that they are 31-year-old and 40-year-old British citizens.
A witness told Sky News, "The cabin crew informed us that basically they tried to come into the cockpit a few times and because they had been asked not to do that, they got into a bit of an argument with the crew and made a few threats." According to the New York Times, a Pakistani Defense Ministry spokeswoman explained "that initial reports indicated that the two men were arguing when one of them 'repeated twice or thrice that he will blow up the plane.'" Meanwhile, a PIA spokesman said, "Later...[they] said they were joking." Really bad timing, guys.
Their joke really “bombed.”
They may be British citizens, but are we allowed to ask if they are Muslim?????
“said they were joking”
Now, joke’s on YOU two!!
I'll take a wild stab in the dark and guess that their ancestors were on neither side of the Norman invasion of 1066?
oh, yes, the Tornado guys escort planes all the time. They don’t interrogate the flight crew for false alarms at all, never, even when it’s just a couple of males joking.
I don’t know. Is this the kind of spirit that my Unncle and the rest of the 101st and Montgomery’s, Ike’s, and Sink’s men had in getting Hitler back into the hole he dug for himself?
Danish and Dutch terrorists.
No, you can’t ask that because that is a religion of peace.
“British men” who were not born there, have no loyalty there are “British” in what way?
What was their explanation for trying to go in the cockpit, I wonder. Not the reason, but the explanation.
Test run. They are always trying the fence to see when the power if off.
These dudes are duds.
Beat the shit out of them.
When they say “British Citizen” it means that the person is NOT Anglo-Saxon. In most cases, it’s a Muslim.
But their ancestors probably fought the Normans at Dorylaeum in 1097.
These rabid throwbacks are also "British Citizens:"
(Wonder how "Fakhir" is pronounced?)
>>It is believed one of the passengers threatened to blow up the plane after other passengers tried to intervene in a row he was embroiled in.
Murtaza Ali Shah, a journalist, said he had spoken to a friend on board the plane, Fakhir Iqbal, a political activist, who was sitting behind the man who made the threat.
Mr Shah said his friend told him: 'Two guys started a row with a girl and lots of other people.
'Some people tried to calm them and asked them not to be rowdy and abusive.
'Fakhir told them to calm down.
'They said 'don't bloody speak to us or we will blow up the plane'.
'The crew came and spoke to them and they were openly threatening the staff.
'Fakhir went to other crew members and told them they were making threats.'
According to one of the passengers, the aircraft's cabin crew said two men had repeatedly tried to get into the cockpit.
Their religious persuasion, was the first thing I thought of.
Two more for the Big Dummy awards consideration
Yeah the mohammedan murderer with the blood-stained hands in Woolwich is also a citizen....
That is truly odd...
Usually the Brit MSM refers to them as "Asians," to avoid identifying them as koranimals.
But they are always described as (phony) British Citizens!
Well lets put it this way. The plane was on its way to Manchester from Lehore.
