In January, Rush Limbaugh warned that there was “an effort under way to normalize pedophilia,” and was ridiculed by liberals (including CNN’s Soledad O’Brien) for saying so. But now liberals have joined a crusade that, if successful, would effectively legalize sex with 14-year-olds in Florida.
The case involves Kaitlyn Ashley Hunt, an 18-year-old in Sebastian, Florida, who was arrested in February after admitting that she had a lesbian affair with a 14-year high-school freshman. (Click here to read the affidavit in Hunt’s arrest.) It is a felony in Florida to have sex with 14-year-olds. Hunt was expelled from Sebastian High School — where she and the younger girl had sex in a restroom stall — and charged with two counts of “felony lewd and lascivious battery on a child.” The charges could put Hunt in prison for up to 15 years.
Prosecutors have offered Hunt a plea bargain that would spare her jail time, but her supporters have organized an online crusade to have her let off scot-free — in effect, nullifying Florida’s law, which sets the age of consent at 16.
Using the slogan “Stop the Hate, Free Kate” (the Twitter hashtag is #FreeKate) this social-media campaign has attracted the support of liberals including Chris Hayes of MSNBC, Daily Kos, Think Progress and the gay-rights group Equality Florida. Undoubtedly, part of the appeal of the case is that Hunt is a petite attractive green-eyed blonde.
One critic wondered on Twitter how long activists have “been waiting for a properly photogenic poster child of the correct gender to come along?”
Portraying Hunt as the victim of prejudice, her supporters claim she was only prosecuted because she is homosexual and because the parents of the unnamed 14-year-old are “bigoted religious zealots,” as Hunt’s mother said in a Facebook post.

Yeah this isssue is really wrong. An 18 year old deserves very little slack for having sex with a 14 year old.
the people who charged her are the ones providing a poster child.
They attacked the 14 year old girl’s parents??? These people are pure garbage and deserve the book thrown at them.
What parent would not object to an adult having sex with their 14 year old???
Would you be OK with a 19yr old and a 14yr old?
What about a 25yr old and a 14yr old?
What about 17 and 13?

(1) She and the underage child did engage in SEX!
(2) The charges of “lewd and lacivious battery” are correct.
We need to re-establish the language and press it upon all of the media: What homosexuals do to gratify their own “carbal, genital desires” is not “sex”!
Anyone with the age differential would be prosecuted. Especially a male with an under aged girl. The idea this is “hate” is crazy.

So I guess they had Duracells. I don’t remember any electric outlets near stalls.
I guess all common sense and decency is gone. I can’t imagine anyone 18 years of age of any gender, thinking they can get away with sex with any 14 year old of any gender.
This is not normal or acceptable behavior at any school.

1. Note the false headline claim of an arrest for “same-sex” relationship.
2. Note ABC’s blatant promotion of the pederast “Freak Hate” Facebook site.
3. Note also how the defenders of pederasty, selected by ABC for sound bites, falsely use the word “date.”
4. Note how ABC knowingly does not correct the falsehood.
5. Note how ABC buries the statements of critics of the pederast adult perpertrator.
6. Note how ABC seeks new political sympathy for pederasty, by misdirecting attention to already acceptable homosexuality.
7. And note the public — our neighbors’ — sympathy with pederasty and exploitation of young teens, as manifested by the Freak Hate Facebook site (and many, many other examples).
Note that the claims by homosexual rights advocates that they don’t condone non-consensual sex fall to the ground in this particular, Kaitlyn Ashley Hunt story. Fourteen year old girls cannot give consent.
In school or out this behavior is criminal and should have a ton of bricks dropped on them.
There is never any excuse for an adult to be diddling children.
Very common in the Mexican immigrant community, because that’s “normal” where they came from.

The law is quite clear. It contains no homo exception, no blond exception, no “we were dating and in love exception.” The law protects the children of pagans, as well as the children of “bigoted religious zealots.” And if the law is followed, she will be found guilty of felony crimes. Hooray!
