Majorities of American voters say their family will be worse off under the Affordable Care Act, and think it would be better to go back to the pre-ObamaCare health care system.
A Fox News poll released Wednesday finds that while 26 percent of voters say their health care situation will be better under the new law, twice as many -- 53 percent -- say it will be worse. Another 13 percent say it wont make a difference.
Almost all Republicans (85 percent) and just over half of independents (51 percent) say they will be worse off under ObamaCare. Nearly half of Democrats expect to be better off (48 percent), while about one-quarter believe they will be worse off (24 percent).

What we’ve been saying all along about this piece of crap legislation is finally hitting home even with the low information voters? Wow. It might be too late though.

Actually, what would be better would be to return the business to it's pre-goobermint-intervention state, which would go back almost a century.
The failing of the pre-ACA system that Dumb-as-craps lamented were real, but they weren't the result of an unfettered, UNDER-regulated free market as they were selling it. They were the result of the PREVIOUS round of government meddling, which can be laid at the feed of the PREVIOUS round, and so on ad nauseum (pretty literally).
I’m thinking at best it can be frozen. I don’t think it can be turned back.
How are you defining “frozen” in this context?
Gee, you would think that the Republicans would want to run on that as an issue.
The beauty of the “pre-ObamaCare health care system” is that it wasn’t really a “system” at all.
Just like we don’t have a food procurement “system”. Nor an auto insurance “system”.
It’s called Freedom. A free market. To buy what you want, from whom you want. Or to not buy at all, if you so choose.
A “system” usually involves government wrecking our freedoms, in order to buy votes from whiners too lazy to earn things for themselves.
My heart bleeds for any idiot who voted for Obama and now realizes that Obamacare sucks...Not.
Obamacare will never be repealed. We missed our chance when we failed to elect RINO Romney. We never really had a chance to elect Romney as we are beginning to learn. The Nazi tactics of the Obama Administration saw to it that the election would be stolen no matter what.
Chicago machine meets Vladimir Lennon. “It doesn’t matter who votes, only who counts the votes.”
yes it can, defund it, then repeal it.
If they did, then why did they nominate Romney of Romneycare fame?
My company’s premiums (which I have to pay personally, since I am a partner) have gone up 76% since Obamacare passed. My family coverage premium has gone from $19,000/year to over $27,000/year, which means by the time it takes effect I will also be hit by the 40% excise penalty tax (”Cadillac Tax”).
“yes it can, defund it, then repeal it.”
Not gonna happen. Some parts of it have too much popular appeal. I think instead we will see an acceleration to single payer, especially as employers become more active at trying to avoid dealing with it at all, ie going with more part time jobs and such. Pandora’s box is already open and I don’t see any way to close it.
My post was an attempt at sarcasm in pointing out why Romney was a bad choice for our candidate.
Make all the politicians live under the same rules and we can go back to pre-Obastardcare.
Indeed. Let it get ugly. Let 0bamacare get ‘all up in people’s grills’. Bring it on. Send me another form, asking me if I buy Big Gulps. Let it get ugly, then exploit the F out of it so the Repubs can grow the House and get the Senate back.
But there is no doubt we’d be in better shape, at least economically, if Romney would’ve won. Too bad the rat in the WH was running all sorts of illegal interference during the election. He should be in jail for the ‘ops’ he was running during the election.
I'm not exactly sure why, but I just seem to love your screen-name!!!
