In Red State America, it is very likely that a CCW holder would have dropped one or both of these Islamic warriors, assuming it wasn’t in in a super-safe gun free zone.

Close the Persian Gulf, stop Saudi, Iran, etc., from exporting oil. 5. Quarantine the Muslim World. 6. Let them solve their own problems.

According to a security source the delay in the armed police response is “particularly surprising” because there is a heavily armed police presence at Woolwich Crown Court, which is just two and a half miles away.
Keith Vaz, the Labour chairman of the Home Affairs select committee, said: “We are all grateful for the local people who responded so quickly.
“It took 25 minutes for the cops to arrive.”

Sounds about right if you consider the police had to go to the Armory and check out a weapon. From what I have read, the police do not carry a weapon on a routine basis.
This is the key detail in this incident. Eyewitness testifies they were sober and sane. They just had very different ideas about what was appropriate than we’d like to assume. I wonder how long it will take for the eyes wide shut media to bury this.
In Texas it would have taken about 2 minutes or less.
Damn straight.
Well, you see, it's like this: First, they had to fill out the paperwork to request their weapons from storage. Then that paperwork had to go up the chain of command at least three levels. Then they all had to stand in formation and ask "Mother, may I?" three times. Finally they all bundled into their police van and started off.
"Whoops, we forgot the bullets!" So they rebundled back to Woolwich Crown Court and started the whole paper process over again, this time using the bullet paperwork.
That they made it in under 30 minutes is a miracle and should be applauded.
They might get one. The victim’s Army mates are not going to sit idly by.
She has more guts than I do. I would have pulled out my .45 and perforated both of them.
But this is UK so even though the terrorists had a firearm the subjects don’t...
