Slow but sure seems to be working for the supporters of the Senate’s immigration bill. With Washington distracted by scandals large and small, the Senate Judiciary Committee continued to chew its way through amendments to the bipartisan measure on Monday.

With 10 Democratic supporters and two Republican authors of the bill on the 18-member panel, the committee has parried dozens of attempts to undermine the measure during the first four days of debate, such as a Republican proposal on Monday that would have allowed profiling of immigrants based on their country of origin.

The Senate Dems strategy is to only accept amendments by those who support the bill, and even limit those. So Hatch and other RINOs get something they ask for (more workers) while amendments to keep the Dreamers OFF the public feeding troth are rejected to keep Dem support.

Then they will lecture us :’This is it. This is the compromise. Its this or nothing. Don't let the perfect be the enemy of the good. This is historic both parties coming together. Dont ruin the bi-partisionship we have bonded. Those good vibes. Lets make history,. Its counting on you’, picture Schumer, this or nothing.

They still have a challenge to get a bill to Obama’s desk but unfortunately too many in GOP want a deal with Dems in spite of all their emotional Rhetoric against Obama which is a smoke screen, Grahamnesty is a great example of that scam/.

I turned on CSPAN for about 10 minutes this morning and I just couldn’t take it. Leahy was up there hemming and hawing around and it struck me that our country is being run by a bunch of old fools. No wonder we are up shites creek.

They are going to ram this amnesty down our throats whether we like it or not. The GOP will go along with it. They all want to move on to other things.
