Senator Charles Grassley, who launched the first Capitol Hill investigation of Operation Fast and Furious more than two years ago, today blasted the treatment of a chief whistleblower in the investigation by the former U.S. attorney in Arizona, and subsequent attempts to discredit him by the Justice Department.
Grassley released a statement after the Office of Inspector General released a report Monday morning that shows former U.S. Attorney Dennis Burke leaked a sensitive document to a Fox News reporter in an attempt to discredit John Dodson, a special agent with the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives. The IGs report, according to Breitbart, said Burkes conduct in disclosing the Dodson memorandum to be inappropriate for a Department employee and wholly unbefitting a U.S. Attorney.
The Washington Times is also reporting the new development.
Burke abruptly resigned his post in August 2011 as the investigation of Fast and Furious by the House Committee on Oversight and Government Reform was beginning to heat up. Grassleys remarks about the former prosecutor and the Justice Department were stinging.

Where is F&F now?
Two years into the investigation. The administration has flipped them the finger and ignored Grassley.
Unless he pushes for impeachment of Holder (who is actually in contempt of congress) or zeros out the DOJ budget, he will remain a gadfly in the corner whining.
Awaiting a federal district court action, upholding the Congressional subpoena to the DOJ and refusing the President's curious request for "Executive Privilege" regarding discussions he claims he never had with Holder.
The court's decision is due within a few weeks. Once delivered, F&F goes back on the front burner.

So I will fight you, no matter how insurmountable it may seem, to the death if need be, in order that it may never be said of me that I was not a warrior. -Border Patrol Agent Brian Terry
LOL! You did just wake up didn’t you!
Thanks for all the early AM pings - Great stuff, as always.
Thanks. Good to know. It should have been all that’s needed to bring this third world regime down.
Sadly just another hate Whitey, America owes me group with their hand out.
