Mission Accomplished. They’ve gotten gay marriage in a dozen states and public approval up over 50%. They did what they set out to do.
I guess this would be good news if I watched TV. Network television is so bad these days that a couple “gay” shows are the least of its problems. Its headed off to the graveyard.
to the detriment of society.
True, I couldn’t name one new show from this or the last few years.
Overall, some 38 programs, many first season ones, were cancelled or finished their run.
That is a massive number.
From some of the prelimaries, it looks like many of their replacement next season will also be short lived.
One problem is that they try to develop ‘weekly’ programs based on themes that would better lend themselves to 3-6 hour mini-series. Many of those themes just do not have enough substance to become weekly series for 22 or so episodes.
I watched Fox’s The Following. It was okay, but how many times can the main female character and/or her son get kidnapped and freed in one season? It was at least 4 for each this season.
Don’t count your chickens. They could be back in full....bloom in new shows this fall. You never know.
Every now and then something catches my eye, like The Following, but I can get that on Hulu.
I did see ads for most of these stinkers, but not even the promos looked interesting. The networks just make themselves more and more irrelevant.
Perhaps a little less OVERTLY gay. But LGBT shall continue to be painted in a positive and upbeat manner, as just one of those “minor” variations of character that makes the story “interesting”.
And no network that carries “entertainment” and a good many that carry “historical” documentaries, will disavow the agenda that has been heaped upon our heads like burning coals.
Even sporting events, like the Stanley Cup Playoffs are available to watch on the computer, so I don’t even use the TV much to watch sports anymore.
I'm a big fan of Sons of Anarchy on FX, and Vikings on the History Channel.
I remember the “OLD DAYS” when a TV set was 12inches and black and white. The programming was exciting, interesting and informative in a brand new way.
Now my YV is 42”, Glorious color, stereo sound, takes up little room and the picture is so sharp we can’t sit too close to a sword fight.
The describes the TV set. The television “programming” is so atrocious that I’ve outprogrammed ALL of the “network” channels.
History, science, good old movies carry the day.
They also have mainstreamed homosexuals into the military, firmly placed pedophiles in the education system from college to grade school, and the Boy Scouts are about to cave to the Lavender Mafia.
They’ve been wildly successful on every battlefield.
It’s funny, but the only shows I wind up watching are Mexican soaps, that my wife watches on Univision...They are actually well-produced, and at least for now, they haven’t introduced any faggotry into them. And some of those actresses are ‘muy caliente’ if you know what I mean. ;)
Cool!
Hear, hear!
You said it perfectly.
wish modern family would get thrown off.
Faggotry seems to be a major liberal obsession. Less is better!
Gator, I lived in El Paso for about 15 years. The array of beautiful women there is simply astounding.
