Congrats to Hillary Clinton: She’s become everything she said she was fighting against when Nixon was in the White House. She was either liar then or a hypocrite now.
If I had to pick one, I’d pick liar and hypocrite.
Maybe when she runs from president 2016, she can help herself in the polls and go on Letterman or the Tonight Show or Jon Stewart and talk about whether she wears Obama’s boxers or briefs for him.
It could help her. The press would just love it.
You see Hillary and Barack can do no wrong.
Because, like DC Mayor for Life, Marion Barry, (read about Marion Barry here) Hillary and Obama have constituencies that will support them no matter how much crack cocaine, or how many prostitutes- figuratively or literally- turn up.
These constituencies include members of the press.
I’d extend my congratulations to Marion Barry Obama too, but I have no idea what he wanted to grow up to become. He either wanted to become the prime minster of Indonesia, the premier of China or the chief community organizer for the first country ever run by ACORN.
“The problem is that I’m the president of the United States,” Obama told a group of kids recently in frustration. “I’m not the emperor of the United States. My job is to execute laws that are passed.”
Yes, that is quite a problem.
It’s much nicer when you can bend a few laws since you can get away with it as emperor de jure, thanks to the press.
You become emperor de jure when you know that no matter how outrageous your behavior, how reprehensible your conduct, no matter how much contempt in which you hold the media, they will never say a thing.
Just a reminder to all the folks media that it’s not a Vast Right Wing conspiracy theory if it turns out that a hypothesis is true.
Just ask the people at the Associated Press who had their phone records seized by the administration over the last two months. You think Obama isn’t worried about Benghazi? Why would they take the risks associated with spying on the press if there wasn’t anything to the Benghazi story as Obama has asserted?
Probably because Obama, Eric Holder and Valerie Jarrett figure they can get away with anything as long as the have willing dupes in the media.
Oh; and there is never a shortage of willing dupes in the media
Several other recent hypotheticals from the Vast Right Wing conspiracy have been revealed as truths too.
These events are all troubling and all of a type.
Not since Richard Nixon bent the levers of power have we witnessed a presidential administration more willing to subvert the rule of law. They bend the law to attack their enemies and to reward their friends with federal largess; they bend it to cover-up their misdeeds when things go wrong and, along the way, to deceive themselves, just for good measure.
But unlike when Nixon was abusing power, Obama’s helpers in deceit, it turns out, are the alphabet soup media at CNN-CBS-NBC.
We’ve recently discovered too, that yes, the IRS was targeting groups on the right- and Jewish groups too- because these groups opposed either the expansion of government or Obama policies in certain areas, like foreign relations.
Many of us have long suspected this.
Freedom of speech and religion are apparently foreign to the IRS. So, Congress is now busy drafting a law to specifically protect political speech from the IRS, like it wasn’t already protected under the constitution.
Oops. Our bad.
We found out additioanlly, that, yes, Benghazi was a cover-up, which we’ve suspected since the administration came up with that ham-handed story about a YouTube video being responsible for the sacking of the mission, and the murder of four Americans. Not since Carter was president have we lost a diplomatic mission in such dramatic and pathetic fashion, as we did in Libya’s northeastern city of Benghazi.
But no matter.
The media is a lifetime constituent of the President for Life, Marion Barry Obama.
Edmund Burke once proclaimed the power of the press to be the “Fourth Estate.”
“Burke said that there were Three Estates in Parliament,” explained Thomas Carlyle, “but, in the Reporters' Gallery yonder, there sat a Fourth Estate, more important far than they all.”
Under Marion Barry Obama however, the power of the press estate in the U.S. has long lapsed into plantation status. There’s a big house, where some live in comfort.
The rest of us are just slaves, waiting to be whipped if we step out of line.
Two brothers, for example live in comfort under the protection of the White House plantation system the Daily Caller tells us:
The brother of a top Obama administration official is also the president of CBS News, and the network may be days away from dropping one of its top investigative reporters for covering the administration’s scandals too aggressively.
CBS News executives have reportedly expressed frustration with their own reporter, Sharyl Attkisson, who has steadily covered the Obama administration’s handling of the Benghazi terrorist attack in Libya since late last year.
It must be a gigantic coincidence that one brother works at the White House handling Obama and the other brother works in for CBS in New York handling “the news.”
But lest CBS lose control, as they have done with Sharyl Attkisson, Obama has a back-up.
“[T]he CNN deputy bureau chief, Virginia Moseley, is married to Hillary Clinton’s deputy, Tom Nides,” political consultant Richard Grenell told FoxNews. “It is time for the media to start asking questions why are they not covering this. It's a family matter for some of them.”
Or maybe just ANOTHER coincidence.
The president of ABCNews, Ben Sherwood? His sister works at the White House too. She’s a special assistant to Obama.
Wow. That’s coincidental too, huh?
Long gone are the days of crusading reporters, eager to fight for truth, justice and the American Way.
Instead, it’s been replaced by a big, white house where brothers and sisters and husbands and daughters make up the news as they go along.
All you have to do is edit a few talking points, apply some pressure via the IRS and threaten journalists with the full force of the United States government.
And then you need only pretend to be outraged via a talking point memo that someone with a brother at CBSNews wrote up for you.
"The IRS as an independent agency requires absolute integrity and people have to have confidence that they're... applying the laws in a non-partisan way," said Obama yesterday as he was telling us that there is no scandal to Benghazi, but he was OUTRAGED at the IRS. "If you've got the IRS operating in anything less than a neutral and non-partisan way then that is outrageous ... People have to be held accountable and it's got to be fixed."
And you know he means it.
He’s already “fixed” the press.
Let's see if they can get their cojones back.

A pretty biting and accusing piece that is more correct than any criticism of Obama, his mindless constituency, his evil functionaries, and a willingly complicit media.
There was never, nor is there a nation or army that could bring America down. But, it has been done from within using our own laws, a media that is so evil the Devil must be proud, and a constituency that is bathed in racism and entitlement.
The problem is that the truth rolls off their backs like water off a duck, and they respond with the same old lying Quack!
