At about 5pm eastern time in Washington, we’re told that Obama met separately with Hillary Clinton and Leon Panetta telling each they needed to handle the attack in Benghazi.

Neither Hillary Clinton nor Panetta had the authority to order the military into action. And, conversely, neither could legally order the military to “stand down” during an attack on sovereign territory.

Obama’s whereabouts after 5 pm are undocumented. We are to believe Obama was having fish tacos and watching TV...while a terrorist attack was occurring on the 10 year anniversary of 9-11.

I thought it was supposed to be a “prisoner swap”, trading the blind Sheik Omar RATman for Ambassador Christopher Stevens. The snatch and bag was a prearranged plan with O and HC keeping State and the Military out of the loop to insure the grab went as planned. The "plan" spun out of control when two retired Navy Seals showed up and obliterated half the raiding party. What started out as an adroit political move by Obadman via State collapsed into a Mongolian cluster F**K with the perps running around in full KYA mode. The Seals could have finished the job with a little help and some ammo.

The gun running may or may not have happened but in any event the story would have provided a cover for the attack on the embassy and the kidnapping of Stevens. With the Ambassador in terrorist hands, the release of RATman would have been a "fait accompli", and O would have made his bones with the Muslim Brotherhood (yet again!), the silent transfer of some "technical assets" would have been icing on the cake. A win/win either way.
