The president called for perpetrators to be prosecuted, court-martialed, fired, dishonorably discharged, "period," and said he doesn't want to hear about speeches and education initiatives to address the problem.
"This is not who we are, this is not what the U.S. military is about," he said. "I have no tolerance for this. I have comunicated this to the secretary of defense, we're going to communicate this again to folks up and down the chain, in areas of authority... I expect conseqences... If we find out somebody's engaging in this stuff, they’ve got to be held acountable. ...It's not acceptable."
