i’m sure we agree on lots. but ok back to the topic of thread: my disappointment that God has allowed a demonstrably evil politician to continue his evil ways. but my acceptance that this is His will. i accept His revelation and move on. i do not regret that i did nothing to help Sanford. i accept that God knows better than i. He sees the the big picture, but i can’t help be disappointed that God is going to use this man. God rarely uses an evil man to the Good. he will probably use this man to punish conservatives. and we certainly deserve that, don’t we?
again i don’t believe anything happens by chance. even chance itself.
Look “Fool” if God has forgiven him then you do whatever you want.
If you choose to judge him you can explain it to God when you face him and tell him why his rules are not yours.
I like how Free Republic one thought adultery was a bad thing. Now, we are lectured on Free Republic, that adulterers are the real victim, and anyone who says adultery is wrong is the real sinner.

I wrote above about how Sanford got into this race. We may have some of his hacks right here on Free Republic, so take it all with a sack of salt.
Actually, I thought the Lord was mighty misused by Markie at his primary victory party, when his vulgar Jezebel made and appearance and he droned on about how if he won the primary then God must be approving of his adultery. Or, something. Shows me he's lost some of his marbles in Argentina.

EXACTLY - we DEMAND saints and get humans...so we dump them. Sanford, for all his faults, was an OUTSTANDING governor and will probably recover fully from his fling.
