Did we expect a conservative to take the Senate seat in Massachusetts? Scott Brown is about as conservative as that State will ever elect — not even close to conservative anywhere South of MA — and even he lost round 2 to a half-witted hippie crank.
SnakeDoc
Like SnakeDoc just said, you have to be realistic about who you can expect to be a viable conservative candidate in the Peoples Republic of Taxachusettes!
Sullivan made a good effort and if his effort persuaded at least some Mass. voters to not vote Democrat then it was worthwhile. Politics is the art of the possible. If somehow this guy Gomez can win, and simply votes against Reid, something positive will be accomplished.
“...now we must work hard to defeat Gomez...”

Do you propose supporting the democrat?
A repeat of the Brown/Warren race. Neither is worth voting for.
in other words and I mean on disrespect to the state or the city. Don’t cry For me Boston.

I really didn’t think the sarc tag was necessary.
Thw Stupid Party partisan.
A flaming liberal RINO in that barking moonbat state works against the RATS.
If he does get elected with RAT votes it could be the seat that puts us over in 2014 to take the Senate.
If you control the Senate it don’t matter how he votes in most cases. Control of the Senate stops Obastard from packing the courts.
He can’t win without Republican support. We failed to primary his ass out so simply support anyone but him.
“it could be the seat that puts us over in 2014”
Like those Maine twins eh? Doesn’t do us a lick of good.
Better to move out of the state than support either of them. Is there an independent conservative?
Control of the Senate controls what gets voted on!
Gomez sounds like he doesn’t deserve conservative votes
To quote our English brethren, "Bugger-off, Mate!"
No conservative worth a dime votes for someone who endorses Obama and his agenda.
Gomez is a democrat, no matter what letter he has next to his name. He’s not a “less pure repubican than myself” he’s a democrat who decided to run for office but knew he couldn’t get the democrat nomination. With his views, if he had a “d” next to his name, I wouldn’t vote for him. Why would I vote for him with an “r” next to his name?? To artificially swell Mitch McConnell’s caucus number?? And that only until he, like Jim Jeffords, decides to become an independent because “the republican party moved away from me.” Or becomes a democrat as Arlen Specter, Charlie Crist and Lincoln Chafee have.
Sorry, he’ll have to get some other dupe to help him get reelected.
WEll, the Democrats just won that seat. Gomez might be a worse disaster than a Democrat.
