Well the bombs caused both male and female DNA to spray in many directions.

As they mentioned there could be a variety of explanations for this. A key question - did they identify the bombers’ DNA on the bomb remnant?

Assuming they developed or at least tested a detonation device these materials would be hanging around the house for some time. In the way when the widow is changing huggies diapers.
We heard that the terrorists bought fireworks. Did they test a detonation device on fireworks for fear of being caught with or caught testing an actual bomb? Put the fireworks in the trunk and shove the detonator in a backpack in the back seat, with an I-pod and I-pod charger and a camera and assorted wires...if you get pulled over, no body gives the bag full of gadjets a second look. Cop takes your fireworks for his kids and your on your way.
