Make no mistake, this is aimed at banning ammunition. Just more back-door gun-control.

“It defies common sense that anyone, even a terrorist, can walk into a store in America and buy {insert product here} without a background check or any questions asked,” Lautenberg said Tuesday. “Requiring a background check for an {insert product here} permit is a small price to pay to ensure the safety of our communities.
I can’t believe terrorists can buy donuts. Donuts are really good, and terrorists don’t deserve donuts.

No laws would have prevented the bombing, accept maybe IMMIGRATION ENFORCEMENT!

I think the voters of Nevada should be forced to have background checks before they are allowed to vote for Harry Reid. He is clearly more dangerous than Chechnyan bombers.

This isn't acceptable. This has nothing to do with the Islamic terrorist bombing in Boston. There is no reason to do this. Harry Reid, and like-minded worthless tyrant, are the most dangerous enemy we face by far. We can't allow them to exploit every single act of violence that occurs in our society. Stupid immigration policies, and massive incompetence by the entire Obama regime, including federal law enforcement agencies under his direction allowed this to happen.
Everyone should be preparing for the day our broken government takes away our Second Amendment rights completely, because it's only a matter of time. They have already infringed upon our rights, and at some point everyone needs draw a line in the sand. We shouldn't be working with these scumbags in any capacity. We should realize our government is broken, and the few decent politicians we have should speak up about these things, and attempt to block every single thing the left brings up until we get the information from the administration on fast and furious, Benghazi, and the Boston terrorist attack. Every branch of government is infested with those who hate our Constitution, and it's just going to keep getting worse. We can't reverse that, but we still have options.
