HOLY CRAP– Saudi student Abdul Rahman Ali Issa Al-Salimi Al-Harbi was injured in the Boston Marathon Bombings. He was once a “person of interest” in the bombings. He was put on a terror watch list after the bombings.

Michelle Obama visited al-Harbi in the hospital last week. He posted pictures on his Facebook page:

Then there’s this… Abdul Rahman Al-Harbi has visited the White House several times since 2009.

Lots of stuff goes into an id apart from face. The important thing about facerec is that it’s just metrics. In theory, you could do it with a ruler and a tape.

It is a small but important part.

(Use max browser width so this thing formats properly.)

Arabic/Islamic names are: 1) lengthy 2) commonly misunderstood by Westerners 3) not properly accomodated by Western computer systems

The word "bin" or "ibn" means "son of" and may be present a number of times in a person’s name, as Saudi names are indicators of genealogy.

Abu added to the name of a Married man indicates that he is father of the child of the same name. Abu Haroon means father of Haroon.

Another common name structure is having "Abd" followed by an attribute of God with the definite article "al-." Hence, "Dr. Abd-Al-Rahman Al-Hajj" would be addressed as "Dr. Abd Al-Rahman" and not as "Dr. Abd" or "Dr. Abd Al."

Arabic names may be written "Abdul (something)", but "Abdul" means "servant of the" and is not, by itself, a name. Thus for example, to address Abdul Rahman bin Omar al-Ahmad by his given name, one must say "Abdul Rahman", not merely "Abdul". If he introduces himself as "Abdul Rahman" (which means "the servant of the Merciful"), one must not say "Mr. Rahman" (as "Rahman" is not a family name but part of his (theophoric) personal name); instead it would be Mr. Ahmad, being the family name).

Components of an Arabic Full Name

Hypocoristic,  Given-Name,  Patronym,  Family-Name,   Nisbah

The White House Guest Log

The White House guest log has provision for First, Middle Initial, and Last names.

The name of interest appears in a variety of forms:

1. ABDULRAHMAN A ALHARBI
2. Abdulrahman S Alharbi
3. Abdulah M Alharbi
4. SAUDMARZOUQR ALHARBI

Analysis:

The names have been entered improperly. Properly formatted the names are:

Hypocoristic   Given-Name   Patronym   Family-Name   Nisbah   Comment
1.   Abdul Rahman   Al Harbi   middle initial "A"? Al Saud?
2.   Abdul Rahman   Al Harbi   middle initial "S"? Saud?
3.   Abdula (?)   Al Harbi   middle initial "M"? Marzouqr?
4. Marzouqr(?)     Al Harbi Saud Marzouqr means blessed or fortunate

The full name appears to be:

Marzouqr Abdul Rahman Al Harbi Saud

These may all be the same person.

That is all quite true. Add to that the fact that they can, and often do, add and subtract names as they please or are given names that are added onto by others. One arab name could fill an entire page in a small print telephone book.

This name, for instance, could mean that he is under saud protection like an adopted son.
I know that they buried osama like royalty giving him all the rank of a favored prince. The rituals were carried out to the most minute detail by the highest ranking sunni imam, including the unmarked grave so that he would not be worshipped by any of his followers.

They do seem to add/drop names on a whim.

I don’t know that I have the name 100% correct, but I think there is a *very* good chance that the names on the WH log are all the same person.

Sorry if this is a repeat. Yahoo has picked up on Michelle’s visit with the Saudi student.

Has it ever been reported who the person was who tackled him at the bombing and held him for the police?

My apologies. I knew you’ve got lots of health issues and didn’t want to bother you but wanted to make sure you were pinged so you could correct any misunderstandings. I guess the major point is that you’re sure the guy in the hospital pics is Bin Laden’s son. Did I get that part right?

Somebody noted the earlobes being different than the young picture of Hamza, and that those would require surgery to change. Is that incorrect?

Interesting. Thanks.

Ultimately, the people who have given materials to Congress members and Glenn Beck know what the story is. If 10 whistleblowers within the government, Glenn Beck, and 10 members of Congress can’t get this to go anywhere, then it’s never going to go anywhere. Any time I invest in it is wasted because I can’t add anything that these guys haven’t already provided. Time for me to focus on stuff I can actually do something about.

Thank you for that research---an education in itself and certain to come in handy as we encounter more and more of these jihadists.

Anything is possible re: these Alharbi WH visits, but we need more information.

Did you look at ALL the fields in the log? Only 4 screenshots have been posted, and looking at it online is difficult because the fields (at least on my laptop) run out of view from the scroll button below to slide right, but it is worth a look if you continue to research this angle.

One field displays the number of people in the party signing in. IIRC, all of the 7 were in groups over 100 and designated as a Tour, except for 1 person, #3, who was in a group of 18, IIRC. I spent some time studying this one, but I didn't/couldn't make screenshots of all of the fields of the seven people.

Granting even that fact may not necessary be what it suggests, but as it stands, we have NO proof yet that the Saudi national visited the WH, none whatsoever.

PS: full, full name of Saudi national I have seen reported a few times is

Abdul Rahman Ali Issa Al-Salimi Al-Harbi

Thanks again for that research. It is excellent.

PPS: This was just posted today

I looked at 2 screen shots. They came from gatewaypundit. I looked at name and date-time fields.

I think it was this thread, maybe another, a freeper downloaded the entire log as a CSV file and was going to dump it into a database and query it. I haven't seen any results reported. I'll see if I can find the post.

I think Ali Issa and Al-Salimi are the names of the father and grandfather.

Marzouqr Abdul Rahman Ali Issa Al-Salimi Al-Harbi Saud

Nickname: Marzouqr
Given name: Abdul Rahman
father or grandfather: Ali Issa
father or grandfather: Al-Salimi
Family name: Al-Harbi
Tribe: Saud

Doesn't prove anything, but it does require a definitive answer: are these visits the same person?

If the name is as common as John Smith, what are the odds of different John Smiths:

Either there is a plague of Johns or one John is REALLY unlucky or that one is a bad... watch your mouth - just talkin 'bout Shaft.

I think there is one John Smith, one Al Harbi, and he is BAD.

The Saudi visited the White House multiple times.

He obtained a special student visa and entered at Boston. He was at the marathon, at the bomb site, was injured and hospitalized.

The Saudi Foreign Minister flew to the United States to obtain his release.

The Saudi is important to both countries.

Do we have to ask why?
