To the many Freepers I am pinging right now, including those of you who spent an incredible amount of time and energy this week posting the latest updates, your insights and research, and posting all the information you could find in the continuing breaking news in Boston and in Texas this week, thank you for doing such an outstanding job.

It was a rough news week beginning with the Boston Marathon news to the horrible explosion and tragedy in Texas to yesterday's grinding pursuit and eventual capture of the 2nd bombing suspect. The way Freepers added the latest breaking news from the media, the play by play updates from scanners, the research posted on the many facets of the unfolding situations culminated in us all having only the most reliable facts to read and review. I don’t think there is a single soul on this board who hasn’t said, maybe more than once, that what doesn’t kill us makes us stronger. Here on Free Republic though, we are accutely aware that what might not kill US, can and often DOES kill others.
Everything that happens affects us all somehow because we care. Trying to find a grain of truth in a sea of sand is tough going, but don’t we always manage to do it somehow? YES, WE DO!
What’s more, people know it and come here looking for it even if they hate it.
