Gym owner Allan said that Tamerlan had once introduced him to an American, Brendan Mess, whom Tamerlan described as his best friend.
Two years ago, Mess and two other men were brutally killed in a Waltham apartment where they were found by police with their throats slit and their bodies covered with marijuana. The murders remain unsolved.

Under our PC rules, where Major Hassan even was passed along and along despite red flares shooting in all directions, this is no surprise. A muslim has to be found with dynamite strapped to his body to be arrested, and maybe not then.
Filmmaker Michael Moore has now sounded off on the ongoing situation surrounding suspected Boston Marathon bombers and Muslim terrorists Dzhokhar Tsarnaev and his older brother, Tamerlan. Naturally, he blames America:

Plain & Simple Muslims lack Christians values such as “love thy neighbor as you love yourself” and forgiveness as in when offended “turn the other cheek.” So it is not islam, it is the lack of Christian values which creates terrorists. Christian values based on Judeo-Christian teachings.

It's just astonishing that within mere months after 9/11 the US government is welcoming Chechen muslims with open arms to resettle in the US.

The FBI certainly screwed up after being tipped off a couple of years ago about possible Jihad connections of the brothers and ruling them out at that time but totally missing the connection to this bombing, even though the FBI had photos of the suspects, and missed the connection to the bombing suspect photos.. The FBI never made the connection, and put the photos out to the public for the public to identify.
I would have expected the FBI to have made the ID, since they had investigated those two bombers earlier, but the FBI was clueless and released the photos to the general public for identification. -Tom
It is the ancient code of "an eye for an eye" that places the responsibility for exacting vengeance for wrongs done to persons on those persons themselves. It rules in most societies, and especially among members of various gangs.
It stands in stark contrast to the truth of God's word, namely that "Vengeance is Mine", saith the Lord!
Now, don't get me wrong. I hope the LEO's or whoever interviews the surviving bomber shows him photos or the dead brother he ran over, along with photos of the little boy he blew up with the bomb he set down right beside him! And that these photos, plus a whole bunch of other gruesome photos of his victims are ORDERED to cover the walls of his very small little cell, so he can--literally--see the blood that is on his hands!
But, ONLY to the end that he might seek, from the TRUE God--and His own beloved Son--the mercy and grace of forgiveness of the sin into which every human being was born, but also for which Christ went to the cross to cover with His own redeeming blood.

Pure speculation, but maybe it was part of his training. The trainer (from Chechnya) says to Tamerlan that he’d better not have any American friends. Tamerlan asks why not and then finds out.
exactly! FBI screwed up bigtime. It didn’t dawn on them that oldest brother might be involved? Older brother wasn’t at the top of the suspect list once they got the lord and taylor footage, or even before?

Just a real sweet guy according to this story:

Perhaps he was just creating more people with disabilities that he could be Best Buddies with?

One very interesting point I noted.
The article says that Christopher Swift, Georgetown University, who specializes on the Chechen War, doesn’t think they were working for Chechen terrorists, because they have NEVER attacked anyone but Russians.
That ties in with the probability that they were connected in some way to al Qaeda and the Saudis, maybe directly, maybe more informally. Or to put it another way, it was their Islamic ideology that motivated them, not their Chechen nationality.
At the least, they attended mosques and associated with other Muslims in the area.

Like every other federal government bureaucracy the FBI is run by agenda driven progressives and staffed with people representing the “diversity” of the US population. No doubt affirmative action is a significant factor in promotions and assignments.
The FBI failure is either the result of a political miscalculation or incompetence. Take your pick. In either case it is the direct consequence of progressive administration.
And the marijuana covering their bodies? It is a message. Would a drug dealer do that? I don’t know. I would think they would smoke it or sell it instead.
