130+ injured, not dead. The only real report about deaths I’ve heard of is for three firemen and one police officer who responded to the original fire.

here in the Dallas area we are expected bad storms after midnight, so I imagine they will get it too.

Yes, let's hope that the coming rain will help put the fire out. I hope it's a gully washer.

My heart is hurting bad right now....I’ve stopped there many times on the way back from driving from Austin/San Antonio to pick up Kolaches at the Czech Stop. If these reports are true, this is devastating to such a small community.

Same here. I felt the same way about the small town of Jarrell, also off I-35 when an F5 tornado devastated the community in late May 1997.

I’m in Waco and just heard a man give that number..He was VERY upset so I have no idea of accuracy..Estimates of injuries 100 to 300..It’s too early to really know..I am in shock..West is a small town N of Waco..This will be so hard for this community..God bless the rescuers. Healing prayers for the injured and comfort to the families who have lost loved ones.
He also said 2 EMS personnel were killed..

Read Wes Boyd's _Snowplow Extra_ for the hazmat problems of firefighting a mass chemical plant fire during a blizzard.

"I hope these folks are considering the extreme hazards of the resulting chemical cloud.

This thing is a Haz-Mat nightmare."

The entire town told to evacuate. This is going to be worse than OKC.

And I’m starting to think this could be terrorism. Secondary explosion after first responders got there.

“I’m thinking that if it was a fertilizer bomb that took out the Murrah Building in Oklahoma City, how many times stronger was this blast?”

Oh, Hell. Compare a Ryder truck full of fertilizer with a warehouse full of fertilizer fire going off.

The explosion caught on video makes the Nevada incident a few years ago look like a pedestrian event. People were knocked into walls 10 miles away.
