Saudi national no longer ‘person of interest’ in Boston bombings, no other suspects

The Saudi national injured during the bomb attacks at the Boston Marathon Monday has been cleared and is no longer even a person of interest, intelligence officials told lawmakers Tuesday.

"This was a soft target. It was not a target that was able to be totally protected," he said. "This particular incident is going to cause the administration and Congress to evaluate our overall security programs around the country, particularly for major events. We can't leave it just to the communities that host these events to provide the security."

The stroller in the photo (to which I think you’re referring) is of the umbrella stroller type. Personally, if I had a child in an umbrella stroller, I’d probably grab my child and run, and leave the stroller behind. They’re very flimsy. But that’s just me.

I believe the deceased Chinese woman is standing to the immediate left of 'bending over (guy, which could also be a woman [Tamerlan's wife?])'.. If it's you that has deshadowed the photo, great job. We could easily be looking at the pressure cooker, although removing it from a bag would be crazy BUT POSSIBLE, especially if a woman were doing it. It would be less suspect if a woman brought a pressure cooker, right?

Anyway, if the authorities aren't investigating this they must clearly have evidence which rules this out. Otherwise, game ON and it's compelling to see the detail of an otherwise hopeless photo.

The photo in post 99 is gone. Is that the photo you were referring to? If so, it has now been removed.

This is not the location where Martin Richard was killed. He was killed in bomb blast #2. Puffy coat man (or woman in disguise) is at bomb blast #1.
