That backpack have been talking about is missing between pictures 1 & 2. No doubt here. First picture ... lower right at 7th vertical rail on gate moving right is a backpack on sidewalk. Second photo ... lower right at 7th vertical rail on gate moving right backpack is missing. How much time elapsed between pictures 1 & 2, please?

The other person was pointed out earlier in the thread. He has a one shoulder strap bag or bag pack and is standing between two brick columns. If you look to his left, there appears to be a police officer or press person. Located just to the right of the black man with sunglasses. The Korean with should strap might be trying to hide from that police officers field of view.

I'm afraid surveillance video is here to stay. Actually government surveillance is just part of the equation. Individuals will be recording anything and everything out of fun and to protect themselves against whatever. video recording costs will come down to the point that everything everywhere will be recorded by someone or something
This cannot be the first bomb if the bag is suspect to be the device. Look @ the video of the first bomb it in close proximity to the buildings!
Some one mentioned low impact explosive?
Look @ the fireball from the second blast and say low impact!

The only advice I could offer the alphabet folks is check who left for Jordan within hours of the explosions.
Maybe there was a thick cloud of smoke rising up in front of the building that muted the shadow. It's still there, just not sharp like it was in the full sunlight moments before the blast.
RE: the 1st explosion, the glass is blown into the sidewalk. Has it been verified the first bomb was inside the building (Marathon Sports or Levin Patti?)

Well the experts will sort this out. You can't necessarily predict where things will land in explosions and I would not necessarily rule anything in or out
