Lies of ObamaCare (Three years after passage, the law’s promises are falling apart)
NY Post ^ | 4/13/13 | MICHAEL D. TANNER

**SNIP**

According a survey by the American Action Forum, healthy young people in the individual or small-group insurance markets can look forward to rate increases averaging as much as 169%.

In addition, ObamaCare requires all insurance plans to offer new and more expensive benefits. Remember President Obama’s promise that “If you like your health-care plan, you’ll be able to keep your health-care plan, period?” Well, a recent study of more than 11,000 plans on the individual market found that less than 2% of existing plans are fully in compliance with the law’s benefit requirements. While current plans are technically grandfathered in, allowing people to keep them for now, any change in the plans requires that their coverage be brought into compliance.

I think one of the most effective things the population could do is to insist that members of Congress fall under 0bamacare. And frankly, I’m pretty surprised that this hasn’t been a big bone of contention. I want to hear each and every member of Congress explain why they should be exempt from it, if it so peachy keen.

It doesn’t matter, they will be exempt from the coming socialised healthcare too, just like the Soviet elite were.

I’ve been in health insurance for 15 years, and none of this stuff is news to anyone in my industry.

We can’t get answers from anyone in the government... because none of the government agencies that are supposed to implementing PPACA have any idea how the law actually works. I work for the third largest brokerage in America; we’ve had to subcontract law firms to decipher every line.

On this week’s national webcast we learned that to qualify for a subsidy, you must submit approximately 40 pages of financial, health, and personal information. That information is shared with the IRS, the DHS, and whatever yet-unnamed agency that will process and store the data. The attorneys are telling us that it appears that employee plans will lose their pretax status and will now be counted as income.

We’re expecting increases on family insurance premiums to be somewhere in the 26-72% range, and that’s not including the 40% tax on “Cadillac” employer plans; unless you’re in a union, of course. Then you get an exemption from the taxes because you have a NAMBLA-esque relationship with your paper god.

I think it’s called No Such Agency and the data will be stored at their new facility in Utah!

Zero is just the face of this thing. It was written a LONG time ago and was designed to cripple America and enslave the citizens.

Of course, you get no healthcare for your increased premiums.

If a band of traveling siding salesmen descended upon the public in several states at once and it was quickly shown that the product they had sold to millions of supportive consumers was far more fraud than truth, how many of these same public officials and politicians would push themselves in front of the cameras to let the public know how vigorously they were going to cancel these contracts and put these liars in jail?

Questoin: How many claims that ObamaCare supporters made while the law was being debated have to be shown to be pure fiction before those same supporters will say the bill was a mistake?

Answer: No amount of fiction in the original bill is enough to cancel it. The only thing that will happen is new legislation will be introduced to change, paper over, and impose new rules and bureaucracies to fix the rules and bureaucracies that were not up the the challenge.

According to Senator McCaskill (Democrat, Missouri), the main problem with ObamaCare is that the government just has not explained it well enough. This must be the reason why the application for it is 61 pages long and intrudes into the private details of your life like no other government document ever devised.

I don’t plan on applying.

And, this is a surprise to whom . . . . . . . !??

It is interesting how politicians play with poll results. Recently, we have been told that 53% of Americans want immigration reform and 64% of Americans want new gun control legislation (neither of which I believe, BTW).

But, back when the debate over ZeroCare was raging, ~74% of Americans were opposed to it. So, should that mean that immigration reform and gun control should be dropped because Americans “favor” them (which I doubt)??

These three poll results show us how out-of-control our government and the DBM are. Of the three, I believe that the numbers were “cooked” in two.

Why is it that if a Citizen lies to the Gummint (witness Martha Stewart), they go to prison; yet, if someone in the Gummint lies to Citizens, nothing happens?
