AP) HAVANA - Cuba says it will turn over to the United States a Florida couple who allegedly kidnapped their own children from the mother's parents and fled by boat to Havana.

Foreign Ministry official Johana Tablada told The Associated Press in a written statement that Cuba had informed U.S. authorities of the country's decision to turn over Joshua Michael Hakken, his wife Sharyn and their two young boys.

LOL,, did ANYBODY ever believe that Cuba would help anyone who opposed an Obama opponent? Fleeing from Obamas government by running into Cuba, would be like someone in the cold war era fleeing occupied Poland by running into East Germany.

Obama and the Castros are ideological twins. Cuba will only save you if you are a Black Panther murderer, a weather underground bomber, a bank robber, etc. You know,, respectable socialist types.

I wonder if he asked for political asylum for his family?

Chere Lyn Tomayko, wanted in the United States for parental kidnapping, was granted asylum in June 2008 by Costa Rica. Tomayko’s claims that her actions were justified by domestic violence she suffered were taken into account by the Costa Rican authorities.

I doubt the father believed the Cuban government would welcome him with open arms.

More likely, he went to Cuba after his other options were cut off.

I cannot believe these engineers did this without work and jobs/contracts lined up in Cuba. Engineers must be hard to come by in Cuba. I cannot only fathom that the Obama thugs made a better deal with the Cuban govt to get the poor parents and whole family back to the states.

What no one in the MSM is talking about is the mother. I am willing to bet that she wasn’t charged with anything. What I have learned over the years about the travesty called ‘family court’ is the following. They cannot take custody from one parent as long as that parent is still married to a spouse. The family court will force a separation or divorce on the couple before granting the custody to the non-charged spouse. So if the mother here was unwilling to submit to a divorce, she too lost custody. A true family breakup.

We also need to learn about the ‘drug charges’. If the father was in Colorado or another liberal state would he have been charged for the same marijuana allegation?

If they did not have jobs lined up, it is likely that Cuba was not in the original plan for “places to flee to”.

There is much more to the story that the media is not relating. Lots of people are charged with drug possession, etc, but that does not, in and of itself, cost them their kids.

Was it their “prepping”, his claimed vocal opposition to Obama?

Too many unanswered questions on this one.

Oh, and from Tuesday’s coverage it appears that CNN were the ones that ratted them out to Cuban authorities. CNN had video of the family on the boat, showing that CNN was at the marina, hoping and taddle-taling. Nazi-network shows it’s colors again.
