Lindsey Girl, a filibuster will actually ensure that you have a debate.

Linda Grahamnesty doesn’t support the filibuster? What a big surprise! He and McLame are probably coordinating their after-filibuster sniping right now. Then they’ll join Obama for champagne and fried dog.

What is there to debate when you are discussing a human right given to us by God?
Lindsay sees some middle ground there or something?

Any chance Lindsey Grahamnesty can be replaced with (perhaps) Trey Gowdy or Joe "You Lie!" Wilson?
I can dream, I guess...

From SC? Let him hear from you:
Oh, trust me; he knows we're here and has heard from us repeatedly. It makes no nevermind with him. Obviously, he has made arrangements for the future that he likes but which do not serve his constituents' interests. His stripes are still the same.
To: JohnPDuncan
Go to hell, Lindsey... and take McCain with you.

South Carolina, please replace this man. He is working against our 2nd Amendment Rights. Don't let him fool you any longer. Tea Party, please have candidates ready to run against him. Search until you find people who do not have a checkered past and have proof they will follow the constitution as in a majority circumstance and as well in a minority circumstance position (in being on the right side of representing we, the people in other words) Let's get some former vets or those in past leadership roles to step up. Lindsey has got to go!

The nation thanks the voters of South Carolina for sending this gentleman to the Senate.
May you soon show up to the polls, and sober this next time.

Thank you for the link. I wrote him. I hope every person that reads here, will do the same. Lindsey assumes that we are all extremists; we are only patriots who love our country and of how it was set up. Imo, that bill does not need to be brought to the floor under no circumstances so the dems cannot get something passed (with the media’s help- that is exactly what will take place- the dems in turn come back and modify, modify, modify..)Lindsey says the media helps Obama with his agenda. Like he is not doing that! The others who are standing firm are doing right on this issue. These guys and gals who side with the dems are just sell outs to the constitution.

One suspects that Graham - as well as McCain - are against the filibuster is that it may prevent them from their style of debating: Immediately crossing the aisle and surrendering.

This is another example of how the GOP cannot get its act together and unify around a message like the Democrats do.
There is NO party discipline in the GOP. There never has been.
All they are good at doing is undermining each other again and again and again.

Harry Reid has made a habit out of filing for cloture at the same time he files a bill. That means 30 hours of debate. That means a vote THE NEXT DAY!!!
This isn’t the old days when important issues were debated for weeks. The senate has a million roll call votes that vote for nothing, they work on the floor about 40 days a year and yet “there isn’t time” for an extended debate.
A filibuster is the ONLY way that anybody would be able to talk extensively on an issue.
To: JohnPDuncan
Lispy, the whole POINT of the filibuster is to force some dialogue on the subject. God knows you and your BFF, Capt. RINO McQueeg won’t sufficiently force the important issues... specifically the chilling effect on the 2nd Amendment... into the open.

I’m really starting to wish that I’d maintained SC residency when I left the state to go to pharmacy school. Voting against Linda in the primary would be a privilege.
