The problem here as in every other avenue of battle between the left and the right is that The Left is ON THE ATTACK and The Right is RESPONDING.

Children don’t ‘belong’ to their parents. They are a gift for the first few years; during which time the parents are their sole guardians.

If raised in love and discipline - children become responsible, caring adults and never become property of anyone, any group or any government.

I am hearing the word “collective” more and more now. It seems they could accomplish their same goals using other words. No - its almost as if they want to start coming out of the closet. Might I suggest to melissa that she look into the families in chicago who ARE run and controlled by the state.
