A young diplomat is among the dead after a Taliban suicide car bombing branded "despicable" by US Secretary of State John Kerry.
Taliban militants have killed six Americans, including a young female diplomat, in the deadliest day in Afghanistan for the US in eight months.
Three members of the military, two US civilians and an Afghan doctor died after being hit by an explosion while travelling to donate books to a school in the south.
In a statement, Secretary of State John Kerry paid tribute to Anne Smedinghoff, a 25-year-old foreign service officer with the US State Department, who was killed in the "despicable attack" in the province of Zabul.

Officials said the suicide car bomber struck just as a coalition convoy drove past a caravan of vehicles carrying the governor of Zabul to the same event.
Another American civilian was killed in a separate insurgent attack in eastern Afghanistan, the US military said in a statement.
It was the deadliest day for Americans since August 16 2012, when seven American service members were killed in two attacks in Kandahar province, the birthplace of the Taliban insurgency.

And the complacent media will not call him on it, or savage the Obama administration the way they would Bush if any of this happened on his watch.
Shouldn’t this be in Breaking? No dead Ambassadors in 30 years and now 2 in a little over 6 months?

Did our military deliver books during WWII?
Of course not. Their goal through their slave masters on the big plantation is to destroy America as it is. Hillary is the same as Obama. They only chose Obama because he appears black which is anyones guess. The elections are usually rigged. I hate it when one of these politicians thinks it’s their turn. That is not an election. I am tired of people like Bill Gates who through their disturbing and sick egos spend their money or use their power to hurt people rather than help. They are not God; and I imagine in their ends they will be silently or out loud praying to God for his forgiveness. I am sick of politicians who steal taxpayer money to line their pockets and that of their friends by doing nothing at all or lying.
