He has already furloughed himself 3 or 4 days a week so he can golf.
If they taxed Obama on all the free perks he and his family get (the private jets, the vacations, the parties...), his salary would not even put a dent in the tax bill.
My income is down 50% this year. I’d be happy if he gave up 99% of his salary. I figure that’s about what he’s worth.
How about paying 5% of all the vacation money spent?

Federal fiscal year ends September 30, so he’s only giving back 2.5% for the whole year. Drop in the bucket.

With the president and Congress, it isn’t their salaries that are massive, it is the perks they get. Those perks tally up to $millions.
He would save a helluva lot more if he grounded Air Force One for a month.

So we pay for his food, housing, utilities, security, entertainment, transportation...does he pay for the kids’ school? MIL’s upkeep?

This asswipe multimillionaire who enjoys taxfree maid and butler and chauffer service from sunup to sundown is too stingy to even take the same percentage paycut as the civil workforce, which is going to be about 20%

I doubt any of them that say they and their staff, etc. are taking real pay cuts, if any.
I’d gladly take a 5% pay cut if my family could take a one week exotic vacation, armed escort and private charter luxury transport included, all expenses paid by my employer, every month.
how about nixing the vacations, golf and celebrity parties for a year?
Yeah, silly. He pissed away a hell of a lot more than 5% just today on his campaign trip to Colorado and Kalifornia.
