The list, Ping
Let me know if you would like to be on or off the ping list
Mr. Perry??? You gotta be kiding me...
I believe he is also a very successful Governor of a large state. But, hey, let's not get in the way of liberal editorializing in what is, supposedly, a news story.
"Federal funds" is commie 'RAT newspeak for STOLEN TAXPAYER DOLLARS.
I betcha $20 he caves. Easiest money is always against those with -R after their names.
No doubt FT similarly reminds their readers that Hillary, Kerry, Biden and Gore are also members of the failed presidential candidates club.
Now he's facing pressure from his fellow Republicans to drop his opposition to accepting billions of dollars in federal funds under the Obamacare reforms and extend health insurance to 1.5m of the states poorest citizens.
Darn Republicans... It's a shame the governor is just a powerless bystander.
It's just heartless....
... may face Hillary Clinton (another failed candidate) in a possible 2016 matchup.
For those of us who do not wish to sign up and either publish articles or ante up $ every month, could you please just summarize any other important info from this article.
I would be most interested in seeing the names of these “Republicans” that are pressuring him and does this article come from a credible source.
I'd like to believe his supporters are, as it would help to explain the exodus to Texas. Might need a place to go myself.
It's this guy that is going to give little bammy trouble...

Financial Times, Economist , Daily Mail, Guardian, all UK lefty publications don’t let em rattle you
“.......But that position is being challenged not only by public interest groups and the hospital industry.....”
Self serving industries! What a surprise!
“According to an analysis by the states former budget estimator, expanding Medicaid would cost Texas $15bn over 10 years, but would open the door to $100bn in new federal funds over that period.”
Whadda bunch of bullshit! IS THAT $100BN in the bank? YOU Really trust OBAMA!? It’s lucy and the football with that bastard.
Stick with what you are doing Governor Perry. Don’t give the self serving SOB’s an inch.
HAPPY EASTER!
Don’t give in!

My message to Gov Perry:
Governor Perry:
I wish to thank you for your opposition to accepting Washington’s offered “$Billions” to expand Obamacare to Texans.
Several Republican Governors (Kasich of Ohio, etc) have already caved to pressure on this issue.
I am asking you to stand strong alongside such brave governors as Scott Walker, of Wisconsin, and resist this form of Federal “bribery.”
I also ask you to resist the arguments of RINO TX State Rep John Zerwas to cave.
If Zerwas’s proposal to “deal” with the Obama Administration regarding this matter passes in the State Legislature, I ask you promptly to veto it.
Putting it another way: I see no reason ever to vote for any politician — for any office — who would compromise his principles on something this important.
Please stand strong: Principle counts — far more than being “popular.”
Thank you.
Very respectfully,
. . . .
“pressure from fellow Republicans”
What’s the point? Why bother having a Republican party? There is no difference from Dems apart from their rhetoric.
He should say something to the effect of
“give us our gold back and then we’ll talk”.
