Happy Easter: Google Celebrates Cesar Chavez's Birth
Breitbart ^ | 3/31/2013 | Ben Shapiro

March 31 marks the birthday of National Farm Workers Association (later United Farm Workers) co-founder Cesar Chavez. Chavez, who was trained by Saul Alinsky in the tactics of community organizing, has become a cult figure in California due to his organization of agricultural workers. March 31 also happens to be another important date this year: Easter. So, naturally, Google’s current logo features a graphic of Chavez’s face, rather than anything having to do with Easter.

“Easter” is really Pascha! Ask any Orthodox Christian. There’s nothing pagan about it.

In every language except English and German, the word for “Easter” sounds like Pascha.

Happy (Western) Pascha to you and yours. We shall join you in saying “Christ is Risen!” on May 5th!!!

All derivatives of the same word.

For video, I use netflix, hulu, vudu, Godtube.

Netflix gives you streaming video without commercials for less than $8 per month. I get all the videos I need.

For maps, I use TomTom GPS and old fashioned hard copy maps.

No google for me, thanx.

As an alternative to gmail, I use Thunderbird, from the same folks that bring you Firefox.

Never had a gmail account.

BTW, when is Alinsky’s birthday? It’d be a good occasion to write his name
on a piece of paper and stomp on it.

I don’t know about Chavez, but Ted Kennedy and Chris Dodd would love both the “Double Irish” and the “Dutch Sandwich”.

Last straw.

Switched to Bing

What are you trying to prove?

If you want to make a political statement, switch to Яндекс. At least, then, only Kommittee will know your searches, not Democrat or Republican Party! And you will have dissed Mr Bill along with the Google billionaires.

However, if you just want to search, stick with Google. They're the best. And shop at WalMart and Amazon. They're the cheapest and most convenient.

yea, the way it works is they route your search through google, but their service acts like a “blind” so google doesn’t know who made the search request and the cookies are stopped at the “blind”. Its neat and clean; that way if, for example, your looking for a hammer, you dont’ get spammed with hammer ads at every website you visit for 2 weeks.
