My money is on Carper being the next to "evolve".

This is all kabuki theater. And it’s very old and very bad kabuki theater at that. They will all fall in line and vote as directed by the Central Committee. Marxist-Leninist Party discipline, you know.

Marriage is a union between a man and a woman. There is no such thing as “homosexual marriage”. Those who think there is want to redefine the word.

you are referring to the kind of people who feel no compunction to re-define two-letter words like “is”.

Carper here.

Governer Markell (sp?) signed the ssm without a popular vote. There is no reason to hold Carper back.

Sen. Joe Manchin (D-W.Va.)

I wouldn't count on Joe "evolving" any time soon, a poll recently came out in West Virginia, where bucking the national trend, opposition to gay marriage had actually gone UP from 68% in 2009 to 72% today. (Of course West Virginia's other Senator Jay Rockefeller "evolved" earlier this week, but that was more to flip the bird at the state because he already announced his retirement in 2014 and knows he can go as far left as he wants with impunity)

WVa should have dumped Manchin when they had the chance.

They are probably all privately(for now) for it. They are just “not for it” for politically expedient reasons.

So maybe you don’t believe in evolution, huh? Here is a small pond full of scum and invertabrates that might make you believe as they flipflop and evolve on their stand on marriage. Liberal ameba’s.
This is using a tool of the left (evolution) to explain their immoral beliefs.
As for me.....I do not fall for the “theory” of evolution. I serve a living, holy and omnitiant Creator.

West Virginia, Oklahoma and Utah are the only states where not one single county voted for ObaMao.

Yet West Virginia voted for Robert Byrd for about 50 terms of office.

“Carper and Casey will flip.”

Casey has successfully run his “pro-life” scam for at least 4 years.

His “support” of traditional marriage will be just one more polite fiction his Hard Left supporters will ignore.

Bogus conservative values seem to be the stock-in-trade for Pennsylvania Democrats.

Six months ago the Black Philadelphia mayor faked about 30 seconds of moral outrage when he said young Black males should pull up their pants and find jobs.

I think we have to respect Carper until proved otherwise.

There is no political upside for being pro-traditional marriage in Delaware.

The “Vince Foster” treatment ought to do it.

“Yeah, Carper and Casey will both flip.”

There is nothing like a person with real strong convictions and core beliefs!

They may not be “for” homosexual marriage but neither are they “against” homosexual marriage! Besides, they know damned-well that the Supremes will relieve them of any obligation to take a stand, anyway!
