The History Channel is refuting accusations that the character portraying Satan in their hit miniseries “The Bible” bears a striking resemblance to President Obama.
Television viewers took to Twitter and Facebook Sunday night to point out the similarities between Moroccan actor Mohamen Mehdi Ouazanni and the Commander-in-Chief.
“That resemblance is uncanny,” wrote one viewer on my Facebook page. “It looks like President Obama 20 years from now.”
The cable network released a statement to Huffington Post refuting the comparisons and noted that Ouazanni has been portraying satanic characters long before President Obama was elected.
“History Channel has the highest respect for President Obama,” the statement read. “The series was produced with an international and diverse cast of respected actors. It’s unfortunate that anyone made this false connection.”
Executive producers Roma Downey and Mark Burnett also released statements calling Obama a fellow Christian who they love and respect.
"False statements such as these are just designed as a foolish distraction to try and discredit the beauty of the story of The Bible,” they said.
So there you have it, folks. There is no connection between the Lake of Fire and 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue.
Regardless – that’s still one heck of a doppelganger.

Not surprising considering this is Downey's 3rd marriage which was presided over by a "Licensed Spritual Advisor" - Della Reese.
I was totally rapt as I watched.
AT NO POINT IN TIME did it occur to me that Satan looked like Obama. If the truth be told, I thought the costuming was more reminiscent of the “darth-type” characters from Star Wars later episodes.
On O’Reilly last night some pretend expert female commentator repeatedly complained that the only black in the entire “all white” mini-series resembled Obama.
Anyone who'd watched the series immediately knew the woman lacked any credibility.
The Samson character was far more obviously black than the Satan character. And he was a black black, not a brown black, and not a yellow black. Samson's mother was also a black.
O’Reilly and Stasi looked like idiots, him nodding goofily along about the “all white” series.
So one black angel defeats another black angel. Have we really become that PC.
It was NOT Satan’s appearance that was so similar.

Obama’s continuous campaign would have us believe we can live on the “bread” the government offers.
Obama offers citizens all they need, if only they will worship him and his government, and deny their faith in God.

He didn't say that upset him. He was responding to a lady on O'Reilley who claimed only the Satan character in the series was black by pointing out that both the Sampson and Archangel Michael characters were also black.
