Why is it that nobody in the GOP is talking about mass deportations? They keep saying “we can’t deport all of them.” WHY NOT? I am sure we could. Let’s start tomorrow!
To: EXCH54FE
We don’t need immigration reform. We need enforcement of our existing laws.
“Reform” is just a way to appear as though solving a problem when in fact we are not.

Well, that was a short run for President.
Hey, Rand, run for Governor or something first, and then try again.

President Eisenhower did deportations during the late 1950s. It worked quite well, as millions witnessed the government’s actions, and self-deported.

Hence the quotes around the word “conservative” in my post.
Rand is a libertarian with some shades of conservatism. But when push comes to shove, he’s a libertarian.

I haven't read the article, but ... we already have a "path to citizenship".
I'm not alarmed by those words nor the intent of a politician voicing those words.
I will be alarmed if those words mean abandoning the established path to citizenship (marriage or other, pay the "fees" wait, fill out papers, pay the "fees", wait, etc.) and less than desireable for the social/political health of the united States people are allowed to "become" citizens.

Unfortunately, there aren’t any other candidates that do not support some kind of path to citizenship.....the devil however, is going to be in the details.
