That's why "Democratic-Lite" loses every single time.
Well put.
“That’s why “Democratic-Lite” loses every single time.”
Scott has done a LOT of good things and is a far cry better then Crist.
Are you supporting Crist?
I love all the Scott payroll warriors on here.
Fist of all there is no deal with the House Repubs and Scott. He acted in his arrogant self interest and was slapped down hard. The Legislature does not care what he thinks.
Secondly, of course Crist is much worse. All I am saying is that now is the time to find a conservative republican taht can beat Crist. Scott can’t.
“Secondly, of course Crist is much worse. All I am saying is that now is the time to find a conservative republican taht can beat Crist. Scott cant.”
Yeah those conservative republicans are beating down the door to take the job away from Scott.
You play the cards you’re dealt, not some fantasy straight flush.
If I’m a Scott payroll warrior I’d sure love a paycheck.
How’s Crist pay? Or maybe its the DNC payin your bill.
Scott had etter learn to fight for this election as does the GOP.
We have the house and senate here but there is no way we can aford to have another radical left wing idiot in charge of our state
Thank you for this view point.
I still think it was a bad idea, but certainly sounds LESS bad now.
And the Florida rumor mill is whispering that Christie, the new demorat, will run in the demorat primary for governor thinking he’ll win and run against Scott. We’ll see how much money the ambluance chasers at Morgan & Morgan put in for Christie.
Crist not Christie. I get the two “twins” mixed up.
Christie - Fat
Crist - Not Fat
I honestly don’t understand why the backlash against these guys. The tax money for Obamacare is being taken from Florida citizens whether we like it or not. So, if our state doesn’t participate in the program, then our taxes are being taken and given to other people and not benefitting Florida at all. I don’t like Obamacare at all, but until it is repealed, it seems that we have to live with it. Liberals will LOVE it if all the conservative states reject the benefits of Obamacare, because then, the bottom line for the program looks fantastic, since it will pay out far less than was planned.
So, I have no right to be critical of someone who does something with which I disagree, because the man is no Jesus?
Is free speech Satan’s idea?
If you take money from the federal government, you’re often making a deal with Satan, who will collect.
Sure tear down the fairly good conservative gov so we can replace him with a weasel.
Thats the ticket.
If he’s doing something that is unwise, perhaps even morally wrong, and will likely cost him votes, are we to stay silent?
“Perhaps even morally wrong. “
Well now you must have specifics or are you just using Alinsky tactics?
Its all about context. If you disagree based on substance with specifics then thats politics.
If you disagree in a way which is helping his challenger then you are helping the challenger.
. . . and then there is the little matter of the special persecutor named in re: Trayvon Martin. I could have said, in re: George Zimmerman, but that wouldnt cover the reality of the issue. Because in reality that isnt about George Zimmerman, who in any event is a Democrat himself. In reality the Democrats have turned Zimmerman into a caricature of Republican white men nationwide - and that is who is being persecuted in this case. We should be joining the Zimmerman suit against NBC for their egregious edit of Zimmermans discussion with the police dispatcher. But we should be extending the case to the Associated Press and its entire membership - and we should sue under RICO for triple damages, using the Duke Lacrosse perjury case as a notorious example of nationwide coverage of what was, within a week of the alleged incident, patently a case of prosecutor Nifong currying favor with political constituents, knowingly and intentionally against the interests of justice, let alone due process. Thereby showing a pattern of activity intended to demonstrate the influence of the members of the Associated Press.
People of the same trade seldom meet together, even for merriment and diversion, but the conversation ends in a conspiracy against the public, or in some contrivance to raise prices. It is impossible indeed to prevent such meetings, by any law which either could be executed, or would be consistent with liberty and justice. But though the law cannot hinder people of the same trade from sometimes assembling together, it ought to do nothing to facilitate such assemblies; much less to render them necessary. - Adam Smith, Wealth of nations, Book I, Ch 10The AP has a rendezvous with oblivion, and this would be an excellent opportunity to cause it to keep that rendezvous. But I've a rendezvous with Death
At midnight in some flaming town,
When Spring trips north again this year,
And I to my pledged word am true,
I shall not fail that rendezvous.- See more at: http://www.poets.org/viewmedia.php/prmMID/19396#sthash.KUR7TBXk.dpuf
