Speaking of Burr...the problem with political jokes is that they keep getting elected....

Gee imagine that. Democrats support killing American Citizens on American soil without arrest or trial. You could knock me over with a feather.

I’m not too familiar with the filibuster process. Can someone fill in for Paul, as in, take the floor after him to monologue, give him a couple of hours break, or is only one person allowed to filibuster?
To: Nachum
Cruz is speaking now, reading Twitter responses to the project. I need to see this for as long as it takes.

Good question
as I understand that he. Senator Paul, must keep the floor
he can yield to questions but he can’t yield the floor
and I am sure there is some rule on how long a silence he can have ans still be considered to have the floor

“Nothing good is gonna come out of this! Freaking McCain and Graham nasty are there! I bet it is either gun control or Open Border sellout.”
Nope, just dinner and it will knock Paul off the front page.

I am so disappointed in my Oklahoma Senator Coburn, he's dining with Obama while this is going on. He needs to get back to work defending the Constitution like the patriotic Senators that have been assisting in this filibuster. So very disappointed!

(DEMOGOGUE: leader who makes use of prejudices, false claims and promises to gain power.)
- ...by softening its edge on some volatile social issues and altering its image as the party always seemingly "eager to go to war... We do need to expand the party and grow the party and that does mean that we don't always all agree on every issue" ... the party needs to become more welcoming to individuals who disagree with basic Republican doctrine on emotional social issues such as gay marriage... "We're going to have to be a little hands off on some of these issues ... and get people into the party," Paul said. [Rand Paul: Time for GOP to soften [immigration, gay marriage] stance]
- One day after announcing on his radio show that he is "truly considering" running in 2014 for the U.S. Senate seat now held by New Jersey's Frank Lautenberg, Rivera amped up his message today in a television interview and a column on the Fox News Latino website... a moderate Republican who is fiscally conservative but also supports gay marriage and Roe v. Wade... [Geraldo Rivera declares himself a 'moderate Republican' as he eyes U.S. Senate run]

Barrasso (Wy.) just finished a good long question, which is now being expanded upon by Cruz. A good old talking filibuster centered upon Individual Liberty and Natural Rights is a beautiful thing to witness. This damn senate needs this. I am proud of the senators who are offering support, they are doing great. Ten and a half hours so far, and they’re looking good.

Maybe if those wimps that had dinner with Nero had instead listened to what Rand had to say they would actually learn just what their role is, representing US instead of political grandstanding and selling out this Great Country!
To: pepperdog
Coburn is a really strong conservative and even though I know you would like him there you can be sure Senator Coburn is giving 0dumbo an earful
and it won’t be compliments.
No Coburn is a great Senator for your state and maybe it is more important for him to be at the dinner to offset any RINO who watns to kiss that POS butt
