HARRISON TOWNSHIP, Mich. (WJBK) - Students at L'Anse Creuse High School were evacuated Tuesday morning after reports of a suspicious person roaming the halls in military gear.
Macomb Co. Sheriff Anthony Wickersham says the man was a 21-year-old former student and airman at nearby Selfridge Air National Guard base. He arrived on campus after his overnight shift to meet with a school counselor after 6 a.m. wearing a camouflage uniform, flack jacket and an empty gun holster.

I suggest everyone wear camo - just to avoid any further confusion.

I have a friend who wore a camo tux to prom.
Having become quite the fan of "Duck Dynasty", I'm seriously thinking about upping my camo wardrobe.

A few weeks ago they had a “scare” at UofM because of a guy wearing camo.
Before Obama is done, I see him trying to outlaw assault camo.

Pretty stupid response, but OTH I think wearing an empty holster is a very bad idea.

"Wickersham says the man made a "bad judgement" wearing camo to his former high school."
They call that "profiling."

"Wickersham says the man made a "bad judgement" wearing camo to his former high school."
Wow. Wearing something obscene to the school might be bad judgement but wearing camo, especially as part of his official uniform is something than no one should ever consider to be wrong.
The Sheriff needs to be removed from office.

Always wondered why they built Detroit in Michigan .... I guess they wanted it to fit in.

"Always wondered why they built Detroit in Michigan"If you know a little history of the area, you learn that there was a little war between Ohio and Michigan over Toledo. Michigan lost, and Toledo became part of Ohio.
Well, the same is true about Detroit. There was a little war between Canada (England) and Michigan over Detroit. Michigan lost that one too, and so Detroit became part of Michigan.

I keep trying to restart the Toledo strip war in hopes of tricking them into winning Detroit.

L’Anse Creuse High School is practically on top of Selfridge. The Harrison TWP area is as close as you can get to an Air Force community on the Lower Peninsula. The Air Force and its predecessor organizations have been in that area since 1917. If anyone needed some counseling it was the janitor that can't tell someone in full USAF camo fatigues fig from some prowler with a do it yourself grab bag of pseudo military gear.

This story is ONE more indication of the indoctrination that the left is foisting on the young generation. Not only do we see the left trying to create an irrational fear of guns via harsh punishments for essays mentioning going to buy a gun at Cabela’s, or for eating poptarts into the shape of a gun, or talking about bubble guns, or wearing a T-shirt about the Marines that happens to have a pic of a gun, or on and on and on and on.
So, while they are intimidating children into a hatred of guns, with the excuse that this will “ensure that they never want to be around guns,” they are also perversely indoctrinating kids as young as kindergarten with sex education.
And this story shows that a new benefit of the indoctrination is that the students and staff are completely intimidated by a military uniform. Hmm, how easy will it be to control the masses with a “civilian military unit” in about a half of a generation....
The education system is filled with perverts and control freaks. FR teachers excluded of course....

“If anyone needed some counseling it was the janitor...”
I agree. In fact, this janitor should recognize a US armed services uniform AND enthusiastically THANK that servicemember. The fact that he had an opposit reaction is a very telling indicator as to his appreciation of our troops.
Can we question the left’s patriotism yet?

When I was in school it was pretty much customary for upperclassmen who had gone into the military to stop in at the school after finishing boot camp to show off a little.
They would spend half a day disrupting classes and talking to teachers and nobody minded one bit.
