Ottawa, Ontario – The Supreme Court of Canada has ruled that Biblical speech opposing homosexual behavior, including in written form, is essentially a hate crime.
On Wednesday, the court upheld the conviction of activist William Whatcott, who found himself in hot water after distributing flyers regarding the Bible’s prohibitions against homosexuality throughout the Saskatoon and Regina neighborhoods in 2001 and 2002.
“The Bible is clear that homosexuality is an abomination,” one flyer that was found to be in violation stated, citing 1 Corinthians 6:9. “Scripture records that Sodom and Gomorrah was given over completely to homosexual perversion and as a result destroyed by God’s wrath.”
Another flyer, entitled Keep Homosexuality Out of Saskatoon’s Public Schools, was written in response to the recommendation of the Saskatoon School Board that homosexuality be included in school curriculum. The Supreme Court declared the document to be unlawful because it called the homosexual acts that would be taught to children “filthy,” and contended that children are more interested in playing Ken and Barbie than “learning how wonderful it is for two men to sodomize each other.” The justices ruled that because the use of the word “sodomy” only referred to “two men” and not also the sex acts of heterosexuals, it was a direct target against a specific group of people.

And because of our belief in His sacrifice as the only thing that can atone for our sins, we are imparted with what some theologians call "provisional righteousness." We're declared righteous, but only on the merits of His Blood, not in anything we do or say.
It's so simple, yet so mind boggling at the same time.

You had it right the first time . He was sentenced to be hung drawn and quartered but had his sentence commuted by that villain Henry VIII to a quick beheading.

Grace by definition is undeserved. I think we’d all like to see another Great Awakening in this nation and I’m fairly sure at this point it’s the only hope our nation has to remain free.

Basically the unelected officials are in control; however, there is NOTHING stopping a sitting government from doing something. The so called Conservative government could easily pass legislation to get around this decision. Provide clarity to the courts that truth or fair comment shall continue to protected free speech. But it seems the government will do what it did with abortion, chicken out, and say it is with the courts.
I guess this means the Haditha, Quran, and Koran are all out too. The Dalai Lama isn’t welcome any more either. He’s on the record saying homosexuality isn’t compatible with spiritual attainment. “There’s not place for it.”
They are as whacked out as we are at this point.

Yes, but that has no bearing on the self-evident fact that the reproductive fitness of homosexuals is ZERO.
Per the order of precedence articulated in Romans 1 - Homosexuals are a self-inflicted social plague and part of a punitive package that is delivered upon those who worship themselves instead of their Creator.
