Ottawa, Ontario – The Supreme Court of Canada has ruled that Biblical speech opposing homosexual behavior, including in written form, is essentially a hate crime.
On Wednesday, the court upheld the conviction of activist William Whatcott, who found himself in hot water after distributing flyers regarding the Bible’s prohibitions against homosexuality throughout the Saskatoon and Regina neighborhoods in 2001 and 2002.
“The Bible is clear that homosexuality is an abomination,” one flyer that was found to be in violation stated, citing 1 Corinthians 6:9. “Scripture records that Sodom and Gomorrah was given over completely to homosexual perversion and as a result destroyed by God’s wrath.”
Another flyer, entitled Keep Homosexuality Out of Saskatoon’s Public Schools, was written in response to the recommendation of the Saskatoon School Board that homosexuality be included in school curriculum. The Supreme Court declared the document to be unlawful because it called the homosexual acts that would be taught to children “filthy,” and contended that children are more interested in playing Ken and Barbie than “learning how wonderful it is for two men to sodomize each other.” The justices ruled that because the use of the word “sodomy” only referred to “two men” and not also the sex acts of heterosexuals, it was a direct target against a specific group of people.

What is disturbing about this is that when it happens in America, these laws will never be enforced on real hate groups like muslims, La Raza, and the New Black Pampers.
Malik Shabazz will always be allowed to shout “kill cracker babies” in public without any consequences.
Would be that we all have this man’s strength of character when it comes time for us to also stand up for God’s Word.
Is opposing the Supreme Court a “hate crime” in Canada yet?
Those are names we never hear anymore. We need more people like them.
It’s amazing, isn’t it? We’re becoming a society that champions sodomy and pederasty but condemns and villifies the right of self-defense.
Save your old Bibles as I’m sure new ones will be written by the revisionists. We saw this last night in the opening segment of “The Bible” on the (mock) History Channel. Minority “rights” now trump individual and majority rights thanks to our liberal legal system and their ever growing desire for more litigation. Sad day for the world and especially Christians.
We are living in interesting times. The closest parallel I can think of is the fall of Rome. Basically the demise of Civilization. I can’t imagine what the world will look like after the genocides, but I suspect we Christians will be the targets once again.
I just hope those people stand up before things get VERY ugly. The Jews went through some terrible trials in Biblical times before they were ready to return to God's Word.

Very good point. And when you see certain "Christians" readily adopting these, along with the PC-ified scripture they contain, you will know that the great Christian bifurcation has begun.
Drag these so-called justices into the street, strip them to their underpants, douse them with high quality roofing tar, frost them with lots of feathers, put a rail up in their crotch, and march them around town for everyone to humiliate and ridicule.

Do this once or twice, and I think common sense will come home to roost.
I think you’ll see a further separation of the faithful and unfaithful, the true Christian and false Christian, as time progresses.
If they don’t want to be “vulnerable”, let them stop their filthy sodomite practices. It’s not as if they’re being forced to do the sick things they do.
The Canadian Court has just committed a “Hate Crime” against Christians. Lock them all up.
I don’t think it’s their ‘nose’ that’s getting poked into anything.
The central government has declared war on its population.
I’ll bet there aren’t similar restrictions on muslims.
I am continually worried by how few Christians are deserving of God's grace or worthy of the Church that has been placed in our hands. Just as often though, I am relieved at the thought that we are not expected to be worthy, just to do our best, to follow God's Word as faithfully as we can and to spread the Gospel even (especially?) if we fall short.
