The perp.
must be a dim since the party isn’t mentioned.
ugh
what an idiot
I gotta give him the benefit of the doubt. How do we know that the joke he made came out in a way he didn’t intend it to?
Why?
They're already great at it...
DemoRATs, ever the classy people! Maybe she should have “killed” his “snake.” It would have served him right!
As Flip Wilson used to say “ in the days of the knights, there were dark knights too.” Just replace “knights” with “RATS’ and you have a perfect analogy!
Oh, yeah. We definitely have to give him the benefit of the doubt.
What he intended to say was "misconstrued," and in any event it simply came out wrong.
Audio is available here.
The 17-year-old high-school girl said she liked the fact that through her work with the science center, she could help other people, including adults, overcome their fear of snakes.
Rep. Hewitt said, "If youre bashful I got a snake sitting under my desk here."
What he actually meant to say was, "If you are shy, then I have an acre of land in the Everglades."
It just somehow came out wrong.
Who you calling "we" Kimosabe? I said "I". YMMV
/shocked
Words to an intern - lose your job.
Sexually harass an intern in the oval office, become a shining star in the democrat party.
What he really meant to say was, “If youre bashful I got a BIG snake STANDING UP under my desk here.” Anyway, the snake came out wrong.
He looks a little, ahhh, what’s the word, ummm, smarmy, that’s it.
This is nowhere near as bad as what they say on 2 and 1/2 men, and it is subject to being interpreted innocently.
