Understanding North Korea and Iran
familysecuritymatters.org ^ | February 26, 2013 | DR. PETER VINCENT PRY

The West consistently and unwittingly cooperates with North Korea and Iran by underestimating the advancement, sophistication, and strategic implications of their nuclear weapon and missile programs.

North Korea, during the successful test of its ICBM on December 12, 2012, orbited a satellite weighing 100 kilograms (about 200 pounds). One design of a Super-EMP warhead would be a modified neutron bomb, more accurately an Enhanced Radiation Warhead (ERW) because it produces not only many neutrons but also many gamma rays. As noted earlier, gamma rays cause the EMP effect. One U.S. ERW warhead (the W-82) deployed in NATO during the Cold War weighed, including its heavy casing, less than 50 kilograms. Since the EMP attack entails detonating the warhead at high-altitude, above the atmosphere, the warhead does not even need a heavy re-entry vehicle and heat shield. ---------------

“Here's the deal. Give up your weapons program immediately or we nuke your asses.” -what a real American President should be saying right now.

I fear it will come to baby Kim having his finger on an orbiting nuke in very short order.

What do you know, a real life supervillian...

I will make this easy to understand. North Korea: they are commies. They kill and starve their own. They hate America and freedom. They are evil.

Iran: they are Muslims. They abuse women and are willing to strap suicide bombs on children. They hate more than they love their own children. They are evil.

The devil is always at work.

Bobalu, I have absolutely NO interest in understanding north korea OR iran. I want then bith obliterated and whether I EVER understand them or not makes not one bit of damn difference to me.
I understand that green is a very soothing color and looks very pretty in bright sunshine from far above the earth. I am sure the glowing images would be spectacular especially at night.

Good start, but Pakistan with its nuclear bomb and Muslim orientation has helped Iran with its nuclear bomb. North Korea with its nuclear bomb and missile technology has sold them to Iran. As you say the devil is at work through these countries and others.

Iran wants to use nuclear bombs and missile delivery systems to harm Israel so it can then intimidate its Muslim neighbors, with the exception of Pakistan (and maybe Pakistan a little).

Iran want to regain its Persian roots and status in the Middle East. They view their history as entitling them to be a world superpower. North Korea is disparate for hard currency, they would do the devil's work for hard Iranian oil-cash.

Wishy-washy politicians would rather take on high profile, manufactured issues - such as the ballyooed global warming nonsense - than solve real and difficult problems like nuclear proliferation among rogue and hostile nations.

Those Bozos will keep passing the buck until we all glow in the dark.

I understand they’d both make very nice glass parking lots.

This article did not receive the attention it deserves. Everyone needs to read this entire article, and take it very seriously indeed. There is a very high likelihood that both North Korea as well as Iran possess "Super EMP" nuclear devices as well as the ability to deliver them somewhere over the continental USA.

What to expect from an erratic North Korea
By Van Hipp
Published March 11, 2013
FoxNews.com
Here’s what Open Source Intelligence (OSINT) is telling us is taking place and what to expect.
--A massive North Korean mobilization is presently underway, complete with troop movements, submarines on alert and missile batteries being deployed.
--Look for 2 more nuclear bomb tests and 1 other rocket launch to further test their ballistic capability this year. In fact, new preparations at the Puggye-ri nuclear bomb test site have been detected since last month’s test.
--North Korea and Iran are both using the same miniaturized warhead design that can be traced back to the infamous Pakistani scientist, Dr. A.Q. Khan.
--Iranian intercontinental ballistic missile (ICBM) technicians are continuing to work on the next North Korean missile test.
--North Korea has obtained proven missile control electronics from Russia and China.
--It appears that North Korea is expanding a new missile launch site at Musudan-ri, which will be much bigger than the missile test site at Tongchang-ri, where the Unha-3 rocket was launched in December, 2012.
And if this isn’t bad enough, additional OSINT suggests that a plan for a high altitude nuclear burst over the Pacific is on the books.

Further, Dr. Vincent Pry from the U.S. Nuclear Strategy Forum, has recently made a convincing case that North Korea possesses an Electromagnetic Pulse (EMP) nuclear warhead which would have the ability to take out a national power grid and destroy critical infrastructures throughout the U.S.

If the Chinese think the US dollar is going to collapse this year anyway (under its own weight or a coordinated currency war) what would they have to lose by letting NORK go ahead with an EMP attack?

China held a large fraction of our debt several years ago when the US first floated the idea of quantitative easing. They said at the time that if the US monitized its debt they would consider it an act of war. No one paid attention and we went ahead and monitized our debt via quantitative easing.

This could very well be China’s ultimate revenge.
