I wouldn't get too excited about Gary Mead's resignation. It is just more of the Washington Kabuki Theater. All designed for the Low Information Voter (LIV). My guess is, Gary Mead is close enough to retirement (or has a higher paying job lined up) and high enough on the food chain to used as a sacrificial lamb.
As Rush says, this president has managed to convince the LIV that he is not responsible for anything in Washington. Zero, Zip, Nada. So they announce that the White House and Homeland Security knew nothing of this and Mead ‘resigns’. LIV now thinks Broncho Bamma is still as pure as the new fallen snow. Wait! According to FOX, this guy sent in his resignation weeks ago anyway. His departure may not have had anything to do with releasing crazed criminals into the American population.

Time for them to 'grow up' in Washington - including the Republicans. They need to earn their paycheck & quit BSing about cutting the budget. There are no real cuts - only cuts to projected money they will spend. They need to quit passing laws that don't apply to themselves & actually do what they were elected to do.

They need to pledge their intent BEFORE they are elected & kicked out if they break their pledge. It's our own fault. We keep on electing them & they keep on enjoying their perks & ignoring the the real reason that they were elected.

They are not called REPRESENTATIVES to represent themselves & what they feel like doing!!!
