My take is that the person resigned because he can’t do his job. Not that he is the fall guy.
I read an article last night on azstarnet.com or kgun9.com in which Paul Babeu said he was told 500 immigrants had been released and that he was told after the fact by people who work for the Border Patrol. It was not an official communication. It sounded like these people did not approve.

My initial assumption was that this guy resigned in disgust after the release of illegal aliens ordered by the Obama administration as part of their fake “sequestration narrative”. Many posters seem to think he is being “thrown under the bus” as a scapegoat for the release — but that would carry an admission that the release was improper — thus counter to the narrative. The article doesn’t really say. What was the guy’s actual motivation?
I don’t see the problem. He was only doing what the White House wanted - exaggerating the effect of the sequester.
Gee.....the Obama regime is releasing real, hard-core criminals....even while attempting to disarm law-abiding Americans and/or attempting to make criminals of us all via new, draconian, anti-gun ownership laws.
