Online rumors about a big government munitions purchase are true, sort of.
The Homeland Security Department wants to buy more than 1.6 billion rounds of ammunition in the next four or five years. It says it needs them -- roughly the equivalent of five bullets for every person in the United States -- for law enforcement agents in training and on duty.

I assume that you are referring to the fact that I didn’t state my worst case. It could be any of a dozen different nefarious scenarios; the specific threat(s) are not the issue. It is the fact that you have far too much trust in this administration NOT to abuse this particular situation.
No reference to virtue made. The govt would not prevail in the hypothetical “sinister” attempt to gun down the citizens.

Make that 10 bullets for every republican. That’s what they estimate it will take to cleanse the political scene in the US.
