These bozos can’t forecast what the cost of ObamaCare really is. How the heck are they credible forecasting ice ages, for Pete’s sake!!

To even question the above “findings” would be anti-scientific, according to today’s scientists, without any hint of irony in their proclamations.

Just good old plain hubris to think that mankind can stop the Earth from doing its thing.

Wishful thinking (and an argument in favor of making efforts to actually cause some anthropogenic global warming): a new ice age would be far more catastrophic to civilization than a 4 degree celsius rise in mean global temperature.

Inasmuch as the climactic record is consistent with a sudden shift from warm conditions to ice age conditions over the timescale of a decade, I wouldn’t be entirely shocked were most of us posting here to live to see the start of the next ice age.

Speaking of ice ages, there have been numerous ice ages in earth’s history.

During one ice age, Chicago was buried under a mile of ice.

Yet, somehow, the earth warmed before we had SUVs and coal fired power plants. The enviro-extremists never can explain these natural warming cycles which had nothing to do with man made global warming.

It wasn’t just the “popular press” pushing the idea of an impending ice age. I walked in on the end of a science class at my college where the prof was pushing the idea in 1970. They were blaming industrialization then, as well.

Yes I remember very well in the late ‘70’s. Climate scientist at that time thought increased industrial SO2 and TSP would lead to solar defection and a new ice age. They were wrong then, and they are wrong now. Vulcanism and Sun Cycles control it all. Not man.

Is this by decree? Do the pinheads have a pipeline to the All Mighty? Or is there some other form of irrefutable evidence?

Just think of what would happen if you put your face into a car exhaust system and took many deep breaths. Now multiply that by all the cars on the planet. It makes one dizzy just thinking about it.

Where do I send my contribution?

If this were the Middle Ages these clowns would be counting angels on the heads of pins.

New boss—same as the old boss.

The sadest part of the story is that California has totally bought into the climate change myth and has thoroughly institutionalized Agenda 21 efforts to reduce greenhouse gases in general planning, regional planning and regulation in housing and development, transportation, water management, timber management, agriculture, fish and wildlife management, healthcare and business. Like lemmings we are jumping off the fiscal and economic cliff following duped progressive bureaucrats and legislators.
