I may be one of the few, I agree with Palin on lots but when she quit as Gov. due to the “press” she quite being a viable candidate to me.

She can be a leader in many ways but not a candidate.

you may all now yell and flame me but, if you cant stand the attack press of ALASKA I have doubts about how you will fair in DC. (maybe as Senator as the one from there just went stupider)

Agreed. It is apparent to me that she has not invested her time in becoming more informed. I wish her and her family well. She is great as a cheerleader, and I mean that positively, but she does not have gravitas. The media crucified Gingrich. I don't see her overcoming them in a campaign.

I’m sorry but you are clueless!!! Sarah didn’t resign because of the press, she resign because the democrats were trying to bankrupt her by filling frivilous and fake ethical charges against her. She said that the time to personally defend herself legally well over 20 charges and more that were coming was taking a toll on the state business. The Republicans there hated her and didn’t want to come to her aid either. She sacrifice herself so that the State could move forward. You are embarrassing

I agree, I was very disappointed in Sarah when she stepped down as Gov of Alaska.

Please don’t give me the reasons I have heard them over and over and I am still disappointed in her that she could not figure out a way. As much as her supporters love her I don’t remember hearing her asking for help fighting her attackers.

I am sorry she didn’t ask because I would have donated money to help keep her viable.

she quit as Gov. due to the “press”.

eyes rolling...pffftttt!!! Someone hasn’t been missing the staff meetings it seems.

Hint: Read her first book or watch the “Undefeated” and you’ll know why she resigned her office.

Clue: It was costing her nearly $600k with no signs of letting up, then you would be sniping about something else.

This old song is enough to put you to sleep. This woman endured more false and completely fabricated crap from everyone during and after the 2008 election than anyone I can think of. She can handle the press, but being bankrupted by corrupt commies masquerading as democrats by bogus lawsuits when you were pulling in somewhere around $110,000 a year is why she gave up her post. Not only her but the state she was representing as governor was being held responsible for the bill. She didn’t fold because of the press or criticism from all sides including her own turncoat party. Nah.

Really? That's all it was, the Alaskan press? Nothing else? You're sure about that?

When did Palin “quit due to the press”? If you think that is the reason she quit, you must be one of Obama’s low information people.

It wasn’t the press she couldn’t stand it was all the frivolous law suits that she had to defend against with her own money.

Now stuff it.

I was sorry she didn’t stick it out the last year-plus too, but it wasn’t the press in Alaska that caused her to quit.

She’s the most talented pol we’ve had for a couple of decades, so I’d back her in a run, but I wish she’d take something like an international energy think tank gig on the side for a couple of years to bolster her substance cred and stay away from the reality TV stuff.

It wassn’t the press, it was the nuisance lawsuits which were driving her family to bankruptcy.

The "attack press of Alaska" had nothing to do with Palin's decision to step down as governor. Her resignation had to do with lawsuits that the citizens of Alaska would be forced to fund.

It's important to get your facts straight before you post, not after.
