(13-WHAM, Evan White) Early Tuesday morning, Christopher Boise heard a noise coming from the basement. As he walked toward the source of that noise, the RIT student noticed two men standing in the downstairs portion of his apartment.
"They were waiting for me at the bottom of the stairs," said Boise.
One of them had a handgun trained on Boise.

Interesting...the one screamed...His bud said it was like "different" and went to get his gun....Good instincts !!!
AbolishCSEU ~:” Surprised this story saw the light of day in Upstate NY! “
The reason it got publicity is because it got NO newspaper coverage , and wasn’t publicized by the police.
Since “ NO SHOTS FIRED “ , the police and newspapers ignored the incident (like it didn’t happen !!)
But the significant issue is just the display of a weapon
prevented a crime !!
Upstate is Conservative Country red
Downstate is Libturd Urban/ NYC blue
Downstate outnumbers Upstate ~ so they have more libturd voters and thus lib representatives (ie.: Bloomburg)
“It doesnt really make sense to ban guns, because in reality what that means is that you are actually banning effective self-defense. Despite the constant hammering by a news media with an agenda, guns are used in America far more to stop crime than to cause crime.” by Larry Correia

It seems that the same 2 bad guys robbed 2 other students at gun point before moving on to these 2 students, who had weapons. There is no mention of the first robbery and the fact that the suspects successfully robbed the students, while the second robery attempt was unsuccessful because it was met by someone willing to show an unloaded rifle.
You will no doubt be surprised to learn that much of Congress St in Rochester is populated by Holder’s people. sd
Generally speaking, it’s not a good idea to point an *empty* gun at someone holding a *loaded* gun. (Although, in this case, it appears the perp actually had a BB gun.)
Once you go 30-40 miles out of New York City , the area is predominantly politically Conservative .
The only exception Upstate ,is in the urban areas , or where there are several liberal colleges.
This article is of significance because the DISPLAY of firearms
Prevented a crime .. and no one took notice.
It seems the press only focus on what meets their gun control agenda .
I am not as I used to live in the Rochester NY "hood" from 1978-1994 and owned rental property in those areas. I cashed out and moved for the sake of my children, who at the time were in 6th and 1st grade. You can only assume that the perps wore hoodies and had a penchant for ice tea and skittles.
Was Rochester named after Jack Benny’s slave?
Assumption to be sure. My son lived “cheaply” for a year on Congress while attending RIT, so we are intimately aware of that neighborhood. His fraternity brothers learned the error of their ways and moved. Odds heavily favor Holder’s people. sd
Rochester was Jack Benny’s butler, not his slave. In some of the story lines he came out looking smarter than his boss, unusual for the 50’s.
