Ridiculous tactic? Or doing whatever is necessary to slow down the American Holocaust?

Another stupid Republican. The dead baby and placenta can be genetically tested in the event of an abortion - this is common practice.

I am pro-life, but if I were a legislator I would vote for an anti-abortion law with rape exceptions, gaining what protection I could for the unborn.

You won’t be able to convince people that abortion even in the case of rape is wrong unless you have FIRST convinced them that abortion is wrong and should be illegal in the ordinary case.

I have always been rather at a loss to address this issue. The logic is broken: "You have been raped, therefore we will commit a second assault on you and in the process commit infanticide." On the other hand, I am not sure I have the stomach to make a woman bear her rapist's child to term.

A character deficiency on my part, no doubt. It's a situation in which there are no good choices.

What a stupid headline, there is no possibility of a pre-rape abortion.

Would a rape victim wait months to have a d and c?

I loathe abortions. But if some piece of slime attacked my wife or daughter I would recommend an immediate scraping to clean whatever filth could possibly have contaminated her health.

Huffington Post seems to be throwing a hissyfit at the light being shed on Planned Parenthood’s PRO-RAPE policy of destroying the evidence AND NOT REPORTING IT TO THE POLICE when a minor is raped, sexually assaulted, enters into a relationship with an adult, etc.

Planned Parenthood has repeatedly been caught on tape ENCOURAGING young girls to LIE in their paperwork so the abortion can proceed with no criminal investigation PERMITTING THE RAPIST TO CONTINUE HIS CRIMES.

I’m not standing here to say that rape victims should be forced to bear a child (although it is no sin of the child or mother that caused the pregnancy). But I will say that the HuffPost Hysterics are misdirected because they shield PRO-RAPE abortionists. Rape is good for their business and they know it.

In fairness to Rep. Brown, her bill says “with the intent to destroy evidence of the crime” so unless the pregnant woman herself intended to destroy evidence, the bill doesn’t apply to her - it is likely intended to apply to a sexual abuser who takes his victim for an abortion, or anyone else collaborating with the effort to hide the rape, statutory or otherwise.

This tactic is misplaced. You don’t outlaw abortions because the fetus is evidence of a crime, you outlaw abortions because killing children is murder.

This law would only protect unborn children because they are a useful tool to prosecute rape. Normally conceived children would be assumed to have no value.

Absolutely stupid and probably won’t hold up in court. This is why Republicans look like such jerks.

This has to be a democrat mole posing as a Republican to cause more damage. Nobody can be stupid enough to force a rape victim to carry a rapists child.

Even senators akin and mourdock understand such a ignorant law would destroy the GOP.

The problem is that abortion mills are basically uncontrolled. If you want to deal with the abortion issue, you don’t go after the woman, you go after the doctor providing the service. Make it criminal for them with stiff penalties.

This clears up alot of the rape and incest issue. Doctors must encourage raped women to seek adoption or keep their baby. They can abort and won’t be penalized if they do, but they must seek out other options first before making that decision.

The real feminist/”progressive” complaint is that Brown is going after those who seek and get abortions instead of others who are currently blamed for all of society’s problems.

Who is advising Rep. Cathrynn Brown? Clod Akin? Or Dick Mourdock?

The New Mexico Republican should have waited until November 1, 2016 to introduce this bill.

I oppose abortion and would strongly urge each woman to search her soul deeply before undergoing this procedure. I would do everything possible to convince someone not to have one. But beyond that Roe vs Wade is now the Law of the Land and until we sucessfully convince people otherwise, that is all can do, and even if we do eventually succeed, I would an idiotic inititive like this one would never be implemented.

Rape is rape.

We have two less seats in the Senate because of two morons like this individual.

Ridiculous Asshat.

I am not for abortion but, on this issue I can see it happening and I don’t know, somehow it being equivocally right.
