If you think Members of Congress should have to pass a budget before they get paid, watch and share the (weekly Republican address) (with Rep. James Lankford) (R-OK).
To give Congress time to pass a budget, the House of Representatives will vote this week on a temporary three-month debt limit increase. But if the House or Senate fails to pass a budget in that time, Members of Congress will not be paid. Here are some facts to remember:

Democrats don't pass a budget for three years...UNCONSTITUTIONAL...Not News

“temporary three-month debt limit increase”
What temporary program started in Congress has ever stayed temporary? he gave the Demoncrats a free pass.
Way past time to insist.

That's the sad truth that we need 'conservatives' to understand.

And it is not a loss of pay...only a postponement.
With interest, with our luck.
Why not just say no cuts, no debt increase?
Sure be nice if the Repubs would support their Base even half as courageously as the Dems support theirs.
(wishful thinking)
Our problem: weak friends, strong enemies.
“Why not just say no cuts, no debt increase?”
Saw Boehner and Cantor following Obama and Biden out after the coronation today, to go “do lunch” together. The Republican party has lost its soul.
